Video: Gadi Adelman on The Washington Terrorist Love Affair

ga

Gadi Adelman goes over all the basics of the Muslim Brotherhood, why they are a threat and the extent of their influence operations within the highest levels of our government. This is a good video to share with people who need to wake up!

Speech from 9/28/13 at the NC Constitution Day Tea Party Rally at Pilot Mountain:

It’s Not the Taliban, it’s Our insults

20121218_taliban_LARGEby GADI  ADELMAN

I’ve been down this road before; down it so many times I can drive it with  eyes closed. But just when I thought I had seen it all the Obama administration  trumps itself.

When the Ft. Hood terrorist shooting became “workplace violence”, after certain words such as “Radical Islam”, “terrorism” and “Jihadist” were removed from  all national security documents, or when the FBI  allowed a known Hamas operative into a six week program that included tours of top-secret areas of our National Counterterrorism  Center, I truly thought it  couldn’t get worse. I was wrong.

What has been termed “Green on Blue” attacks, green being the Afghan forces,  blue being the U.N. or Coalition forces, has killed 125 troops. A breakdown  of deaths per year and percentage of Coalition deaths caused by such attacks  shows the increase since these attacks started,

2008 – 2 – less than 1%

2009 – 12 – 2%

2010 – 16 – 2%

2011 – 35 – 6%

2012 – 60 – 16%

A Wall Street Journal (WSJ) article  on December 11 reported on a new Army manual or handbook for U.S. Troops that  goes beyond any stupidity I have seen thus far from this administration,

The 75-page manual, reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, is part of a  continuing effort by the U.S. military to combat a rise in attacks by Afghan  security forces aimed at coalition troops.

The proposed Army handbook suggests that Western ignorance of Afghan culture,  not Taliban infiltration, has helped drive the recent spike in deadly attacks by  Afghan soldiers against the coalition forces.

“Many of the confrontations occur because of [coalition] ignorance of, or  lack of empathy for, Muslim and/or Afghan cultural norms, resulting in a violent  reaction from the [Afghan security force] member,” according to the draft  handbook prepared by Army researchers.

Of course! How silly of me, I should have known that the reason the Taliban is killing troops has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that there is a  war, it is because we have insulted them!

What’s worse that some bonehead actually got paid to study and write this, is what’s inside the handbook itself. Some of the specific points in this manual of ‘Kumbaya crap’ is beyond belief,

The draft handbook offers a list of “taboo conversation topics” that soldiers  should avoid, including “making derogatory comments about the Taliban,”  “advocating women’s rights,” “any criticism of pedophilia,” “directing any  criticism towards Afghans,” “mentioning homosexuality and homosexual conduct” or  “anything related to Islam.”

What? Are you fricking kidding me? Let’s examine some of these “taboo conversation topics”.

“Making derogatory comments about the Taliban”, of course, that makes total  sense, why would any soldier ever say anything derogatory about THEIR ENEMY,  that would never happen, after all I am sure they have the utmost respect for  each other.

“Advocating women’s rights”, well that just goes without saying, just because  many of the U.S. troops in Afghanistan are women, just because hundreds of women  have received the Combat Action Badge, just because women are among the dead and  wounded, women’s rights need not be mentioned, the Taliban see these women in  uniform every day, no need to mention it.

Keep Your Friends Close, And Your Enemies Closer

By Gadi Adelman:

On October 12, the Simon Wiesenthal Center “urged President Obama to condemn the rhetoric and cut off all official and unofficial US contacts with the Muslim Brotherhood”. The amount of ties the Obama administration has to the MB is indisputable, but at what point does close ties become infiltration?

The quote about ‘friends and enemies’ has been attributed to Niccolò Machiavelli as well as Sun Tzu, though no published sources predate its use by “Michael Corleone” in the movie ‘The Godfather Part II’ in 1974. Quote history lesson aside it raises an important question, at what point in keeping your enemy close do they become a ‘Trojan horse’?

On October 12, the Simon Wiesenthal Center called on President Obama to publicly condemn the anti-Semitic call for Jihad against Israel by the Muslim Brotherhood’s Supreme Guide, Mohammed Badie and to order the cutoff of all contacts with the organization until the threat is withdrawn.

Don’t anyone hold their breath.

The amount of articles, material and people speaking out on the ties between the Obama administration and the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) are in the thousands. I have lectured and written on this too many times to count.

Obama demanded that the MB be present at his 2009 speech in Cairo, even though at the time the MB was an outlawed organization in Egypt. This was believed by many, including myself, to be the beginning of the end of Hosni Mubarak.

Shortly after taking office Obama selected Egyptian-Born U.S. Muslim Dalia Mogahed as an advisor on the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Dalia Mogahed is a devout Muslim and the first woman to wear a ‘hijab’ (head scarf) to work each day in the White House.

As was reported in ‘The Tablet’ back in April 2010,

The most important person shaping the Obama Administration’s Middle East message isn’t Hillary Clinton, Robert Gates, Dennis Ross, Joe Biden, or Rahm Emanuel. Rather, it’s a Cairo-born mother of two named Dalia Mogahed.

Mogahed has continually defended the Islamist organizations, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), both of which have legally proven ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. ISNA grew out of the Muslim Student Association (MSA) another MB organization. ISNA completed a $21 million headquarters in Indianapolis using funds raised in part from Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR and ISNA were both unindicted co-conspirators in the largest terror financing case in U.S. history. As explained by the Investigative Project on Terrorism,

Exhibits from the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) trial showed that the North American Islamic Trust, an ISNA subsidiary, paid $30,000 to senior Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzouk and his wife, along with another $30,000 to the Islamic University of Gaza, a school long known to be controlled by Hamas. Five former HLF officials were found guilty of illegally routing more than $12 million to Hamas.

But the ties to the MB continue and continue much higher.

Recently reported in the Washington Post, Representative Michelle Bachmann and four other House Republicans wrote a letter asking the Department of Defense, the State Department, and other departments to investigate whether the U.S. government is being infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood,

In particular they said that Huma Abedin, deputy chief of staff to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, “has three family members—her late father, her mother, and her brother—connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations. Her position provides her with routine access to the Secretary and to policy-making.”

In February 2010, President Obama appointed Rashad Hussain, a White House lawyer, to be his special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference. His ties to the MB are numerous as well. According to an investigative report by Joshuapundit,

In October 2000 Mr. Hussain spoke at a conference sponsored by the Association of Muslim Social Scientists (AMSS) and the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University (CMCU). The AMSS was founded in 1972 as an outgrowth of the Muslim Student Association and has long been associated with the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.

In June 2002, Mr. Hussain was listed as part of a Congressional Staffers panel at the American Muslim Council’s (AMC) 11th annual convention. The AMC was headed at that time headed by Abdurahman Alamoudi, a leader in the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and currently imprisoned as part of a plot to assassinate the Saudi head of state, Crown Prince Abdullah. Other important leaders of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood such as Jamal Barzinji were also part of the AMC.

While at Yale, Hussain was part of the organizing committee for an April 2004 conference known as the Critical Islamic Reflections (CIR) group. Among the CIR sponsors listed on their web site was IIIT and the Fairfax Institute, the IIIT educational arm. IIIT is an important component of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and three of the key IIIT/Fairfax leaders Jamal Barzinji, Hisham Al-Talib, and Yaqub Mirza; were also associated with what has been called the SAAR network (Safa Group), a network of Islamic organizations located in Northern Virginia that was raided by the Federal government in March 2002 and which, until at least mid-2007, had been the subject of an ongoing investigation. Also listed as a CIR sponsor was ALIM, most likely referring to the American Learning Institute for Muslims and whose list of instructors includes some of the most important leaders of the U.S./global Muslim Brotherhood including Tariq Ramadan, Jamal Badawi, and Taha Al-Alwani.

Even the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is not immune. Arif Alikahn, the former Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Policy Development is now a Professor of DHS and Counterterrorism at the National Defense University, Alikahn served as Deputy Mayor for Public Safety for the City of Los Angeles where he put a stop to the LAPD’s monitoring of radical mosques and madrassas where 9/11 hijackers received support. He is affiliated with MPAC, which has called the terrorist group Hezbollah a “liberation movement.”

Imam Mohamed Magid is a member of the Homeland Security Countering Violent Extremism Working Group Member and currently the President for the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). ISNA ties to the Muslim Brotherhood have already been noted.

In October 2010, Secretary Janet Napolitano named Mohamed Elibiary to the Homeland Security Advisory Committee. Elibiary also has ties to the MB. He spoke at a 2004 conference in Dallas praising the “Great Islamic Visionary” Ayatollah Khomeini.  More recently he leaked secret and sensitive intelligence documents to a media outlet in Texas.

Eboo Patel sits on the Obama Administration Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships along with Dalia Mogahed. Patel spoke at a MSA and ISNA convention, appearing with Tariq Ramadan the grandson of the Muslim Brotherhood’s founder, and with Siraj Wahhaj. Wahhaj was also named as a possible co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and has defended the convicted WTC bombers. Wahhaj advocates the Islamic takeover of America.

After 31 years of counter-terror activism Gadi Adelman is tired

I’m Tired by GADI  ADELMAN:

Thirty-one years is long time. Actually, it’s far too long. This week will be  my birthday and I won’t be celebrating.

At the age of 51, I can only look back and wonder why, why things have gotten  worse rather than better. I have been speaking, writing and teaching about  terror, Islam, Sharia and counter-terror for 31 years.

With all the news surrounding the death of Ambassador Christopher Stevens in  Libya, I have to start with the last death of an American Ambassador.

Although the last U.S. ambassador to die in the line of duty was Arnold  Raphel, the U.S. ambassador to Pakistan, it is unsure whether it was a terrorist  act. He perished in a plane crash in 1988, along with the then president of  Pakistan, Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq.

Prior to that, the last ambassador to be killed in the line of duty was  Adolph Dubs, the U.S. ambassador in Afghanistan, in 1979. On February 14, 1979,  he was kidnapped by four terrorists and was killed when he was shot during an  exchange of gunfire started between the terrorists and Afghan security  forces.

An American Ambassador killed by terrorists. Did America notice? No.

Months after the Ayatollah Khomeini returned to Tehran and Iran voted to  become an Islamic Republic we had the embassy takeover. On November 4, 1979  Iranians seized the U.S. embassy, taking 66 hostages. 14 were later released  with the remaining 52 freed after 444 days on the day of President Reagan’s  inauguration.

This was not enough for people to take notice.

When I arrived back in the U.S. in 1981, I tried and tried to introduce this  country to what I knew would be needed, anti-terrorism. I applied and  interviewed with every alphabet soup government agency and was shot down by each  and every one with the exception of the CIA. I was told, “This is America, we  don’t have terrorism.”

The CIA offered me a position that I couldn’t speak about for years under the  penalty of ‘treason’, but needless to say it wasn’t in the area of  counter-terror. I refused the offer since it would have been going against my  own morals, ethics and beliefs, not to mention, Israel.

In 1981 there weren’t even a handful of counter-terror people, as a matter of  fact I knew of only two, myself and my dear friend and colleague Dr. Walid  Phares.

Interestingly, both I and Dr. Phares have been saying and warning of the same  things for all these years.  Even though what we say and warn about seem to  come to fruition each and every time, very few listen.

Between 1982 and 1991 we had the kidnappings and deaths of Americans in  Lebanon. Thirty U.S. and other Western hostages were kidnapped in Lebanon by  Hezbollah. Some were killed, some died in captivity and some were eventually  released. Terry Anderson was held for 2,454 days.

This too was not enough for people to take notice.

Shortly after I arrived back in the U.S. from Israel we had the Lebanon  bombings.

On April 18, 1983, the U.S. embassy in Beirut was bombed killing 63 people,  most were embassy and CIA staff members, several were soldiers and one was a  Marine. 17 of the dead were Americans.

That same year on October 23, the U.S. Marines barracks were destroyed by  suicide bombers during their stay as part of multinational ‘peace keeping  force’. What many do not know is that this was only the second “suicide bombing”  in history, it was carried out by the terrorist organization Hezbollah and  killed 241 American servicemen: 220 marines, 18 sailors and three soldiers,  along with sixty other Americans injured.

The Marine barrack attack was the deadliest single-day death toll for the  United States Marine Corps since the Battle of Iwo Jima of World War II, the  deadliest single-day death toll for the United   States military since the first  day of the Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War, and the deadliest single attack  on Americans overseas since World War II.

Was the bombing of the U.S. embassy and the Marine barracks in Lebanon not  enough for people to realize that perhaps we as Americans were not dealing with  a conventional enemy? Did the American people take notice? No. Did the world  take notice? No.

Before the end of that horrendous year on December 12, 1983, the U.S. embassy  in Kuwait City, Kuwait was attacked by Shiite truck bombers, killing five and  injuring 80.

Did America start to take notice? No.

Then a second time within 17 months on September 20, 1984 a suicide bomber  driving a truck packed with 400 pounds of explosives targeted the American  embassy in Aukar, nine miles north of Beirut. 23 people are killed and 21  injured.

More flag draped coffins. Did America start to notice a trend here? No.

**********

Since 9/11, things have gotten worse throughout the world, not better.  Somehow through backwards political correctness and ignorance, the perpetrator  has made himself the victim. Sadly, that’s what Americans notice. What’s more,  most Americans believe it.

It has been stated by leaders the world over as they have seen their own  countries succumb to and be held hostage by Islam.

Former French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, on February 11, 2011, while being interviewed  on French National Television about Islam in his country,

“My answer is clearly yes, it [multiculturalism] is a failure.”

On February 5, 2011, U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron, stated in a speech  while speaking on taking a tougher stance on groups promoting Islamist terror in  his country,

“Frankly, we need a lot less of the passive tolerance of recent years and  much more active, muscular liberalism. Let’s properly judge these organizations:  Do they believe in universal human rights – including for women and people of  other faiths? Do they believe in equality of all before the law? Do they believe  in democracy and the right of people to elect their own government? Do they  encourage integration or separatism?”

“Again it just seems the Muslim community is very much in the spotlight,  being treated as part of the problem as opposed to part of the solution.”

Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany stated  on October 17, 2010 while speaking on Muslims in Germany,

“We kidded ourselves for a while that they wouldn’t stay, but that’s not the  reality.”

“Of course the tendency had been to say, ‘let’s adopt the multicultural  concept and live happily side by side, and be happy to be living with each  other’. But this concept has failed, and failed utterly.”

As leader after leader has seen their country under the threat of terror and  retaliation become more Islamic, more Sharia compliant and they lose their right  to free speech, they have all come to the same conclusion. Americans though  don’t take notice.

The Arab Spring has brought us more Islamic ruled governments, not more  “freedom;” the reason is simple, what we in the West refer to as “freedom” is  not what Muslims see as freedom. Their freedom is that of the Quran. Their  freedom is the word of Allah. Their freedom is living like they did 1400 years  ago. Period.

If you think I am wrong, look at the Middle East. Take notice.

I’m tired of being called “an alarmist,” I’m tired of being called “an  Islamophobe,” I’m tired of being called “a nut,” but most of all I’m tired of  America not waking up to the truth.

Since the terror attack that should have been the one to end all others,  9/11, there have been 19,680 deadly attacks, with over 260,000 deaths, all in  the name of Islam. This is not a few people “that have hijacked a religion.”  This is the religion. This is Islam. It’s time to take notice.
