Nonie Darwish exposes the real war on women on Hannity

Secure Freedom, Published on May 14, 2014:

The seizure of hundreds of Nigerian girls by the terrorist group Boko Haram has brought new mainstream attention to the inherently anti-woman features of shariah law.

Center fellow Nonie Darwish joined Sean Hannity and other female refugees from Muslim countries to discuss her experiences growing up as a young woman under shariah in Egypt.

Fake Outrage in the Martin/Zimmerman Case

Race-BaitingBy Nonie Darwish:

Having lived half my life in the Middle East, I am especially sensitive to recognizing fake outrage and shaming forced upon ordinary people by the social system. Every society uses shaming to define its morality, but some societies go too far in using and abusing shaming words that make people cringe and shrink whenever they are mentioned. Such intentional shaming is often fake and bogus done for the purpose of manipulating and controlling others. In America, expressions like ‘racist’ and in the Muslim world expressions like ‘apostate’ can do the trick of silencing citizens and keep them muzzled and beaten down.

The Muslim world is at the top of the list of cultures that perfected the art of fake and exhibitionist outrage and shaming to prevent the natural mental evolution of people to go to the next level and evolve beyond old baggage. The sacred cow of Muslim countries is to keep people under the control of Islamic law through government enforcement and to prevent any change in that regards. Thus it is not a coincidence that Islamic law dictates that the number one job of the Muslim head of state is “to preserve Islam in its original form and never accept any novelty.”

The tool of shaming and fake outrage is nothing new in American politics but its use by the present administration, especially in the Martin/Zimmerman case, have taken America to a new low. Running out of true racism cases, the Obama administration had to find a fake race outrage to divert the attention off its scandals, similar to what Islamists do when they call their opponents ‘apostate.’ Desperate to change the subject, by an administration engulfed in scandal, they decided to take anything even the poorest case that resembles racism.

This is the same fake outrage the Obama administration created over ‘the video’ in the Benghazi scandal. As in many Muslim cultures, Obama’s poeple have perfected the technique of shaming to claim moral superiority.  Attorney general, Eric Holder, who describes America as a “nation of cowards,” won’t quit his outrage over the Martin/Zimmerman case.

The activist Left is determined to rub America’s nose periodically to the ground to keep leverage over their opposition and continue the profitable business of race politics. It is embarrassing and difficult to see the Left using every shaming tool to preserve their sacred cow accusations of racism for the sake of winning elections. It does not matter to race baiters that the American people will become enslaved by the tyranny of shaming and will never move beyond the guilt over slavery, which was a worldwide phenomenon not only between black and white but more often within the same race.

Like the fake Palestinian problem in the Muslim world, the race problem in America must be perpetuated and kept alive for the sake of covering up bankrupt agendas, resistance to change and lazy thinking. Like the Palestinian problem, those who refuse to be honest about their intentions must never resolve America’s race saga.

And now America, its government media and educational system, have all become experts in the culture of shaming and fake outrage to manage the direction of where the country is heading at the expense of moving beyond racial consciousness. We now have a whole new generation of young Americans who would rather defend terrorists and criminals rather than being called racists or bigot.

“If They [Muslims] Had Gotten Rid of the Punishment for Apostasy, Islam Would Not Exist Today”

533615_415805795169274_1235744186_nby Nonie Darwish:

The West refuses to be concerned; and when its citizens are concerned, they are suppressed. They are sued, assaulted, threatened with deportation and sometimes murdered.

The most influential Sunni leader in the Middle East has just admitted what many of us who grew up as Muslims in the Middle East have always known: that Islam could not exist today without the killing of apostates. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, head of the Muslim Brotherhood and one of the most respected leaders of the Sunni world, recently said on Egyptian television, “If they [Muslims] had gotten rid of the punishment [often death] for apostasy, Islam would not exist today.” The most striking thing about his statement, however, was that it was not an apology; it was a logical, proud justification for preserving the death penalty as a punishment for apostasy. Al-Qaradawi sounded matter-of-fact, indicating no moral conflict, nor even hesitation, about this policy in Islam. On the contrary, he asserted the legitimacy of Islamic laws in relying on vigilante street justice through fear, intimidation, torture and murder against any person who might dare to leave Islam.

Many critics of Islam agree with Sheikh Qaradawi, that Islam could not have survived after the death of the prophet Mohammed if it were not for the killing, torturing, beheading and burning alive of thousands of people — making examples of them to others who might wish to venture outside Islam. From its inception until today, Islam has never considered this policy inappropriate, let alone immoral. In a recent poll, 84% of Egyptians agree with the death penalty for apostates; and we see no moderate Muslim movement against this law. That 1.2 billion Muslims appear comfortable with such a command sheds light on the nature of Islam.

Unlike Americans, who understand basic principles of their constitution, most Muslims have no clue about the basic laws of their religion. Most Muslims choose ignorance over knowledge when it comes to Islam, and often refuse to comment negatively out of fear of being accused of apostasy. While in the West it is considered a virtue to try to understand one’s religion, ask questions about it and make choices accordingly, in the Muslim world doing the same thing is the ultimate sin punishable by death. What the West prides itself on, is a crime under Islamic law.

Over 75% of Egyptian Americans Voted For Islamist

By Nonie Darwish:

While Egyptians inside Egypt were split in their vote in their recent election, Egyptians living in the West were overwhelmingly in support of the Islamist candidate. Indeed, many Egyptian Americans who have dual citizenship and are living in America voted at Egyptian consulates throughout the United States. They did so both in the primary Egyptian elections, which occurred a few weeks ago, and now in the recent final elections for president of Egypt between the Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohamed Mursi and the former Prime Minister, Ahmed Shafiq.

Both Alarabiya TV and Egyptian national TV reported that Egyptian immigrants voted 75% in favor of the Muslim Brotherhood candidate in the primary. Now in the final elections, again Egyptian immigrants voted over 75% for Mursi. If we consider the Christian Egyptian Americans who voted for the former prime minister of Egypt, the percentage of Muslim Egyptian Americans who voted for Islamists could have reached over 95%.

While voters inside Egypt are almost equally split 50/50 between Sharia and no-Sharia, we find the votes of American Egyptian Muslims reflecting an unprecedented level of radicalization that surpasses most Muslim countries. This should be very troubling to Americans, especially to those who care about Homeland Security.

Over the last 3 or 4 decades, American Islamic groups and mosques have managed to radicalize a large number of Muslim Americans, especially those who attend mosques. While they publicly tell us they are “moderate” and that there is nothing to fear from Islamic law, they turn around in private and hold the banner of jihad and Sharia and command Muslim Americans not to assimilate in America.

Muslim immigrants to the West have, in general, rejected taking the hard role of positively changing their countries of origin and inspiring them with new ideas of freedom, democracy and human rights. Instead, Muslims in America have focused on building mosques with aid from Saudi Arabia rather than protesting against Iran’s execution of apostates and stoning of women. They have focused on defending and lying about Sharia in America rather than teaching values of life liberty and pursuit of happiness to their countrymen. They have focused on a message of anti-Semitism, blaming America and holding Israel apartheid weeks, rather than on assimilating in America, initiating peace dialogue or holding an olive branch out to Jewish students.

Contrary to logic and to the brotherhood of all humans and cultures, American Muslim groups have maintained the same high levels of hate, anger and victim mentality that exists in many areas of the Muslim world. And now Muslim Egyptians in the West have not only ignored the welfare of the 50% Egyptians who do not want to live under Sharia, but have also ignored the reasonable fears from Islam by the American public and instead insulted them as racists and “Islamophobes.”
