Waging Jihad From Within – The Muslim Brotherhoods Infiltration of the United States Government by Alee Gennarelli

Center for Security Policy:

On Monday, a brilliant high school student named Alee Genneralli presented her senior thesis about the Muslim Brotherhood in America. She established that the Brotherhood is a terrorist organization, working to destroy the United States from within, using stealthy, subversive techniques.

Alee spoke with eloquence, conviction, passion and authority. She graciously credited a free, online course on the subject produced by the Center for Security Policy with having inspired her. But she will, I hope, inspire everyone who views her video to join her in countering shariah – and the Muslim Brotherhood’s civilization jihad aimed at imposing it here.

Misinterpretation or Misdirection?

702_largeBy Justin O. Smith:

On November 3, 2013, a small group of about 25 protesters from the surrounding area met in front of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro, in order to protest the appearance of Dr Jamal Badawi, a fundraiser for the Holy Land Foundation. He is one of the founders of the Muslim American Society, a Brotherhood entity. His name is listed in a 1992 U.S. Muslim Brotherhood directory. In 1999, he justified suicide bombings. In 2009, he praised the “martyrs” of Hamas and endorsed “combative jihad” in March 2010. He is also closely linked to Brotherhood spiritual leader Yousef al-Qaradawi. And it was well that we showed up, as I managed to make it inside to listen to the misdirections of Dr Badawi and his explanation that all too often the Q’uran is misinterpreted; this is the same man who minutes into his speech was mesmerizing his mostly white liberal crowd with glib, disingenuous tales of how jihad has nothing to do with “Holy War” and nowhere in the Q’uran does it command Muslims to commit “Holy War.”

Which Dr Badawi are we to believe?… The Badawi praising Hamas and endorsing “combative jihad” or the one telling us that such a thing doesn’t come from the “Holy” Q’uran.

The theme of this conference, ‘God’s Books _ Reading Scripture in Judaism, Christianity and Islam’, appeared to center immediately from the first few words of the first speaker, Sheikh Ossama Bahloul (Imam of ICM), on the frequency of misinterpretation of the Q’uran, which on the face of the argument is quite valid. Anything can be misinterpreted, and many things often are. But how can they reconcile such glaring gaps between their own words and actions, as in the example of Jamal Badawi? They can’t!

Pretty spoken words in front of a crowd of Sunday’s People means little, when with the next breath one hears of them endorsing terrorism abroad and at home. Badawi protested to the crowd that jihad had nothing to do with Holy War, after explaining that jihad was more of a personal battle, and then, in the very next sentence he stated, “Oh…but there is a type of jihad fighting (a military war) for unprovoked aggression or suppression.” And just who makes this determination, if not the imams/sheikhs and Islam’s religious leaders?

Am I misinterpreting Badawi or is he misleading and misdirecting the “dhimmis” of America….those all to willing to place America in harms way for a handful of false promise?

Bahloul and Badawi would have us believe that this clash of civilizations is just all one big misunderstanding stemming from the misinterpretation of the Q’uran by Muslims as well as non-Muslims.In order to fully understand Islam they said one must be well studied in all the verses on any particular topic, so it is seen in its historical context, as well as its entirety. Badawi later expanded on this as he differentiated between “normative” Islam and “the reason behind each revelation”, as decided by Islamic “familiar researchers”, and “interpretive” Islam, as it is practiced by cultural groups within Islam and the various Islamic nations; the same verse of the Q’uran may have several different interpretations, depending upon one’s location.

In one example, Bahloul stated that when the Q’uran says “to kill the Jew, God was talking specifically about the community in Medina.” Little good this has done the Jews across the centuries. I’ll just bet the Jews wish someone had sent out that memo to all the Muslims in Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Jordan and Syria over the centuries, as their property was confiscated and they were murdered by the millions; 750,000 Jews were forced from their homes in Islamic nations in 1948 alone, because of Islam’s “peaceful and tolerant” nature.

In April 2004, radical Muslim Brotherhood ideologue and Hamas spiritual leader, much touted at the ICM,Sheikh Yusuf al Qaradawi credited Allah with providing Palestinians “human bombs,” instead of the planes, missiles and weapons that Zionists have. In addition, his Friday sermons at the Umar bin al Khattab mosque, a government sponsored mosque in Doha, have been regularly broadcast live on Qatar television. In a 2005 sermon, while speaking about notable Hamas leaders killed by Israel, Qaradawi asserted, “Their fate was paradise. They died martyrs. They met the death that every Muslim wishes for himself, which is martyrdom in the cause of God;” Qaradawi is also influential through a wide network of affiliations. In the U.S., he is the chairman (in absentia) of the Michigan based Islamic American University (IAU), a subsidiary of the Muslim American Society (MAS) , according to the MAS Website. The university aims to provide Islamic higher education, especially to converts and non-practicing Muslims, according to the IAU Web site. Qaradawi is also listed by the IAU as a faculty member.

Is Qaradawi misinterpreting his Q’uran, Allah’s and Islam’s desires for his actions, or is he simply following the true path for any and all devout Muslims, as detailed in the Q’uran?

As I watched the opening address by Ossama Bahloul and the obviously white, liberal, smiling faces in the crowd (see Dr Ron Messier’s 3/18/2011 speech at the International Institute of Islamic Thought), I realized this was pablum for their consumption. Basically he was suggesting that there exist bad and good Muslims. He wanted the crowd to believe he and his crowd are the good Muslims, when he stated: Sunni or Shia…liberal or conservative…they all use the same book. He or she can have their own translation; keep in mind this may not be the true meaning of the Holy Q’uran.”

Misinterpretation or misdirection…increasingly, we also see a number of individuals who find justifications for killing other people by identifying the U.S. and other countries as enemy countries open for war. That is something unfortunately that is inherent in Islam and Islamic scripture; Sayyid Qutb’s writings and legacy are admired by parts of the Muslim Brotherhood and found in Al Qaeda’s ideology in advocating violence against every current government and society because all are in a state of “Jahiliyyah” (Apostasy). Qutb advocated Jihad to force society to submit to God alone.  His book “Milestones” has become a manifesto for Jihadists seeking to free Muslims from Jahiliyyah and to establish “Divine Law” (Sharia) to bring about man’s submission to God, and this influence was heavily felt during the Arab Spring.

It is hard to accept the words of Dr Jamal Badawi as honest, once one learns that he has regularly engaged in terrorist support/finance activities (e.g. Holy Land Foundation conspiracy). But even more troubling was the fact that not too many Muslims felt that this event was important enough to attend, which may suggest that they don’t accept the concept either; all Muslims may not be terrorists or dangerous or bad and cruel, but we see an increasing number of people who are finding in Islamic scripture justifications for cruel behavior toward non-Muslims and even the people of their own respective societies. And, the silent Muslim majority have a hard time condemning fellow Muslims who are violent because they feel they can’t criticize the Koran, since they have all been indoctrinated with the idea the prophet Mohammad is infallible, he can do no harm, he has done no harm, he was a pure man. He’s out of bounds and that’s the predicament: As Badawi uttered, “Peace Be Upon Him”, he stated that in any difference of opinion among Muslims, one must accept Mohammed’s words as the “final interpretation”.

Jihad in America

Editor’s note: Frontpage is proud to announce that our Shillman Journalism Fellow, Mark Tapson, co-wrote this documentary.

On the bright, beautiful, and crisp fall day that was early morning, September 11, 2001, few Americans were familiar with stealth jihad, or considered Islamic terrorism a threat to America.  Yet, there was a voice crying in the wilderness, warning of a danger that already existed here.  That voice belonged to Steven Emerson, whose documentary film titled Jihad in America was aired by PBS on November 21, 1994.  Islamic militant groups in America, including CAIR (the Council on American-Islamic Relations) began their protestations and intimidation even before the broadcast date.  Since the airing, the use of intimidation has been ramped up and gone global, having a stifling impact on terrorism/jihad-related broadcasts in the mainstream media throughout the Western world. This oppressive atmosphere has affected the conduct of Western governments, including the Obama administration.

Emerson’s newly released Jihad in America: The Grand Deception is a must-watch documentary — an educational tool for Americans to learn about the network of stealth Islamist jihadists in the U.S. that has grown in the aftermath of 9/11.  The fact that evil lurks just under the surface in America (brought to life last month at the Boston Marathon) seems to be difficult to acknowledge, yet ignoring it is at our peril.  Unfortunately, Americans have a short memory span, and most prefer to turn away from unpleasant realities, especially in the Obama Age.  Hence, all the more reason to circulate information about this essential documentary.

The 70-minute documentary by Steven Emerson’s Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) deals with the covert structure and growing influence of the Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan al-Muslimun) and other such radical Muslim groups, masquerading under the deceitful moniker of apolitical religious groups, as well as civil rights groups in the U.S. This IPT documentary reveals how the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) has infiltrated the highest institutions of the land, including the Obama White House, the U.S. Congress, U.S. Departments of State and Homeland Security, Hollywood, the mainstream media, law enforcement in various states, the publishing industry and American museums.  The film not only presents examples of MB infiltration, but reveals how the MB and its affiliates intimidate policymakers to submit to their demands by their use of our open democracy to undermine our institutions, all of which is done to further their quest for global rule under Sharia law.

This film includes previously unseen interviews with articulate and most courageous Muslim individuals, former FBI agents and federal prosecutors, a prominent Hollywood director, journalists, as well as a top official of the Muslim Brotherhood.  This documentary features secretly recorded audio and video speeches of radical Islamists, including individual preachers and groups, original MB documents, and unsealed federal documents.

In an interview Steven Emerson had with Lou Dobbs of Fox News on January 21, 2013, the host introduced The Grand Deception as follows: “Our guest [Steven Emerson] says that the ‘Muslim Brotherhood and other radical Islamist off shoots are hiding in plain sight right here in the U.S.’”  What followed is Emerson’s explanation of the documentary title. “A group of Muslim Brotherhood activists secretly got together in Philadelphia in 1993 in a meeting that was actually wiretapped [the wiretaps have since been declassified] by the FBI.  They [the MB activists] openly talked about deception as the primary campaign tactic that they would use to change the image of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S. by creating new front groups, by changing the terminology, and by claiming they were against terrorism publicly, but in fact raising funds for Hamas privately. The word deception is the word that I used in the title because that is exactly what is going on throughout the country with these radical Islamic groups.”

One of the radical Islamists the documentary presents is a Brooklyn, NY-based Imam named Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, who, according to Emerson, had been invited in 1991 to give an invocation to the U.S. Congress (the first Muslim to so) and would subsequently be recorded saying about the U.S., “You know what this country is? It is a garbage can, it is filthy and sick.” The film also points out that this anti-American, hate-spewing Imam, was invited to appear at anti-terrorism conferences and was paid by the U.S. government.

Muslim Brotherhood victories in Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya have provided encouragement for the hundreds of MB cells worldwide, including those in the U.S.

The film shows Attorney General Eric Holder undergoing congressional drilling in 2010 from Rep. Lamar Smith, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, on how he refused to acknowledge the role of radical Muslims in terrorism on American soil and refused to use the words “radical Muslim” or “Muslim.”

In another frame of the film, Dr. Mamoun Fandy, an Egyptian-born American scholar, President of the Fandy Associates think tank and a senior fellow at the U.S. Institute of Peace, declared that the MB is the “mother” of all radical Muslim groups.  He pointed out that “instead of isolating the MB, the West and the U.S. [especially under President Obama] have engaged them and regarded them as “moderate.” According to Fandy, the West was tremendously naïveabout the nature and intentions of the MB.  According to Emerson (in conversation with this writer), Fandy was let go by Georgetown University because of his views on the MB.

The film records the spiritual leader of the MB, Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, speaking to a Muslim audience in Toledo, OH and revealing the goals of the MB.  “We will conquer Europe and we will conquer America for Islam through religious proselytization” (dawa in Arabic). MB documents captured by the FBI in 1991 further reveal this insidious plan by the MB to conquer America for Islam.  It includes increased immigration and settlement as part of the MB’s plot of stealth Jihad, just as they have done in Europe.  Their aim is to destroy Western civilization from within by destabilizing “their miserable house,” and replacing it with God’s religion — Islam.

The Control Factor: Our Struggle to See the True Threat

siegel

Ever wonder how people could be so duped about the true nature of Islam and the threat it poses to Western Civilization? Are you having trouble wrapping your brain around the the level of infiltration that Islamists have been able to achieve in all levels of our government and civil institutions? Well here is the answer. I encourage you to read the whole interview.

By Jamie Glazov:

FrontPage Interview’s guest today is Bill Siegel, a lawyer and business executive. He has been a producer of several documentary films and assists numerous non-profit organizations. He is the author of The Control Factor: Our Struggle to See the True Threat.

Excerpt:

FP: Describe the threat we face in our Islamic enemy. And you talk about the three levels of jihad against us. What are they?

Siegel: Simply stated, our Islamic Enemy seeks the totalitarian domination of Islam throughout the world – Islamic supremacy. It seeks to have the West submit to Islam. Obviously, this does not mean that everybody becomes a Muslim. Islam, in all its varied expressions, permits dhimmis- those Christians, Jews, and some others who are permitted to remain as protected non-Muslims as long as they submit to an inferior status. What is critical is that Shariah (Islamic Law) ultimately rules the world.

Jihad, loosely, is the effort/struggle to see this vision through. The most obvious method of Jihad is through violence; it is the one most familiar to most Westerners and almost all of the Koranic references to Jihad are based in violence.  The Violent Jihad includes al-Qaeda and its offshoots as well as other groups that formed around the globe independent of al-Qaeda. It also obviously includes the violence from Islamic nations such as the Islamic Republic of Iran whose constitution specifies such vision. It also includes, however, various militant groups and training camps here in the US as well as ad hoc efforts of individuals.

Since 9/11, there have been something in excess of 15,000 Violent Jihadic attacks across the globe. However, as terrible as this is, we have a tendency in the West to think that the only dimension of threat we face comes from violence. While the Bush administration helped initiate this thinking, the Obama administration has actively abused it by limiting any discussion of the threat we face to al-Qaeda and some other terrorist groups abroad. As frightening as these groups are, we can get some ease from thinking they are a band of “extremists limited in number, weaponry, sophistication, and means. Stunningly, Hillary Clinton recently estimated that there are only about 50,000 “homicidal” violent extremists around the world who simply have been able to project power much greater than their number should allow. Here the Control Factor makes the threat appear more easily manageable.

Jihad, however, is pursued in other often even more effective ways which I have grouped into three “levels.” A second more insidious level of threat is what the Muslim Brotherhood itself called the “Civilization Jihad.” It is the effort to infiltrate all aspects of our society, peacefully according to our laws, in order to later be in position to sabotage and destroy it from the inside. The Civilization Jihadists have learned the culture and rules of the territories they seek to command and use those rules to maneuver—specifically using our freedoms to destroy our freedoms. They use “lawfare” to seek changes in our laws so as to push Shariah into our society. Your readers should read Daniel Pipes and Brooke Goldstein’s Lawfare Project material and others to fully appreciate how cancerous this activity has become. This includes intimidating in a variety of ways anyone who speaks out against them or Islam and seeking to squelch our treasured broad right to free speech so as to ultimately prevent any criticisms of Islam. Once criticism of Islam is prohibited, little can stop it from cascading throughout the culture.

The Civilization Jihad includes situating such Jihadists in critical positions in the society, in the government, in the legal system, the military, and elsewhere. It includes the control over university programs that distribute propaganda about Islam and Islamic history which then filters down throughout textbooks for even younger students. It includes control over most of the nation’s mosques and local Imams guiding the messages engaged Muslims are receiving. Most troublesome are the Muslim groups (CAIR, ISNA, MSA and others associated and/or joint venture partners with the Muslim Brotherhood) supposedly interested in “outreach” which know how to appear Westernized and interested in the goals of Western Civilization. They have fooled a large part of our authorities and media due in part to their patience and willingness to chip away, one airport prayer room, one frivolous intimidating lawsuit, one Congressman or CIA officer, one mosque, one ruling at a time.

Particularly in the US, given our deep attachment to freedom as well as cultural and psychological tendencies toward diversity, Western guilt and expectations of truthfulness, this effort is devious and difficult to uproot. The Civilization Jihadists present one face to the American public which is completely at odds with their true agenda and how they deal in private. Jamie, you and David and others such as Steve Emerson, Frank Gaffney, Andy McCarthy and others have done so much to uncover this level of Jihad that your readers should be urged to review as much of their work (including Steve’s recent excellent documentary, The Grand Deception, and Frank’s important web video course, The Muslim Brotherhood in America) as possible.

Finally, there is a third level – the International Institutional Jihad. Here the most powerful international institutions such as the UN and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and others seek to push into America from without those changes which are difficult to complete from within. The OIC is the largest Islamic institution in the world. It essentially controls the vote in the UN’s General Assembly and thus explains in part the absurd and abject pro-Islamic, anti-Israel thrust of that organization. This level seeks to use the power of Islamic nations to work from outside the West to force changes within the West. While there are various conflicts between many of the nations, being Islamic majority states, there is a great deal they agree upon which becomes the focus of these efforts. Just as the Obama administration is beginning to cooperate with international efforts to control gun ownership, so has Hillary Clinton’s Istanbul Process become a dangerous step in the effort to restrict speech critical of Islam by norm (or possibly even treaty) when it may not be fully executable by domestic action alone.

I should point out that Stephen Coughlin, the former Pentagon officer who has an important must-see presentation of Islamic Law, uses different names for these same three levels – Jihad, Dawa, and Ummah. Had I seen his work before I wrote my book I would have conformed to his categorizations.

We must learn how powerful language has become on all three levels. Words such as “peace,” “freedom,” ”terrorism,” and phrases such as “human rights” have different meanings for us and for our Islamic Enemy. To oversimplify, “peace” is not something for now but that which comes when all the earth is submitting to Islam. In the context of battles, “peace” is at best a temporary ceasefire. “Freedom” is best understood as having the freedom to fully submit to Islam, not to choose whatever beliefs one desires while respecting the same right in others. We’ve all seen how ”human rights” and “terror” really only apply among Muslims, not to non-Muslims. Our enemy fully understands these differences and uses them at all levels to paralyze us.

Look simply at how the phrase “Israeli-Palestinian conflict” has equalized the two parties, making it all the easier to ascribe features of one to the other and view the problem as a simple-to fix division of assets into statehoods but for personality problems among the leaders. The simple truth is that this is and has always been a one-sided Arab war against Israel as Ruth Wisse and others have described and, as Bibi Netanyahu made clear, the ONLY state truly at issue here has been the State of Israel that the Arabs have refused for over half a century. Nonetheless, the Control Factor hypnotically abuses the mind’s susceptibility to the intricacies of language.

Even the label “Peace Process” has been damaging language. While most focus upon the first word, turning this into a “process” has helped ensure that peace is never obtained. It is more appropriately called the “Extortion Process” because all that results is that violence is used over decades to extract concessions from Israel.

These three levels must be understood for their differences while united by a single goal. While these levels often operate together and assist each other, we must avoid “level confusion” which the Control Factor employs to curtail our fears. If the Obama narrative is swallowed- that the only threat is the Violent Jihad- we will miss the other contamination fomenting within our borders. We must appreciate how these levels work together and even unite with other forces such as the global Leftist movement that you, Jamie, have described so forcefully in United in Hate.

FP: You write about how we like to talk of “Good Muslims” and how we are always on the eternal search for “moderate” Muslims (Khatami, Mousavi, Abbas, etc), while we stress how the “extremists” are the real problem and how “few” they really are. All of this is connected to the Control Factor. Enlighten us.

Siegel: The Control Factor seeks to have us feel in control of the situation. The easiest way to do this is to simply minimize the number of potential enemies. We have been lectured for years about how Islam is a “religion of peace” and that the violence we see (remember that we have already improperly limited the problem to violence) is the product of a small number of “crazies” (remember Hillary Clinton’s 50,000) who have distorted Islam. I call this the “Peaceful Muslim Disclaimer” as virtually everyone in the press and government has been bullied into making some statement of the kind to silence those who will pressure them that they are “Islamophobic” and Islam is being attacked. (These are the Islam hustlers who operate on the same principles that black race hustlers so effectively used to extort concessions over the last six decades or so).

Nobody has done any real work to support this proposition, nor is it clear exactly how it would be tested. My view is that the grammar “Islam is x” is itself problematic because Islam has expressed itself throughout history in a variety of fashions. It is more useful to talk in terms of how seriously engaged with Islam, the Koran and other texts, a Muslim is. What is significant is how Muslims today are using Islam and most of those who are in power either throughout a large territory or within a small community tend toward, if not fully advocate, the very supremacist ideas that we try to tell ourselves are reserved for the few ”extremists.”  Presumably most Germans did not wish to see all Nazi atrocities carried out but in the end they fell in line because they had to. Those our politicians and press call the “extremists” are in one sense more accurately the “good” Muslims who are following their Islamic beliefs dutifully.

Jihad is ‘getting to a better place,’ says CAIR campaign

slide_270028_1886096_free-600x350By Neil Munro

An Islamic-advocacy group linked to terrorism is launching a public-relations campaign to argue that jihad doesn’t mean Islamic holy war, but instead a “concerted effort … with the purpose of getting to a better place.”

However, the campaign, which is being launched Dec. 14 by an affiliate of the Council on American Islamic Relations, isn’t a formal religious declaration by United States or Arab Islamic authorities, and it does clash with orthodox judgments dating back 1,400 years to the beginning of Islam.

“It is [public] education about what we believe,” said Ahmed Rehab, who serves as the founder of the project, head of CAIR’s Chicago affiliate and CAIR’s strategic communications chief.

The views of jihad groups, Salafi activists in Egypt and of the Arab world’s leading preacher, Yusuf al-Qaradawi, “are not the entirety of the story,” Rehab told The Daily Caller on Thursday.

Those orthodox views of jihad as warfare to spread Islam are being championed by a new wave of Islamic revivalists — including numerous jihadi groups, such as the “Jamaat al-Tawhid wa’l-Jihad” terror group in the Gaza strip.

They also are being pushed by Qaradawi, whose weekly radio show has a claimed audience of 60 million. In 2011, he was invited by the dominant Islamic group in Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood, to give a speech to thousands of Islamist supporters in downtown Cairo.

“I have hope that Almighty Allah … will also please me with the conquest of the al-Aqsa Mosque [in Jerusalem, Israel]. … May Allah prepare the way for us to preach in the al-Aqsa Mosque in safety!” he declared.

In contrast, Rehab’s “MyJihad” public-relations campaign portrays jihad as “a concerted and noble effort against injustice, hate, misunderstanding, war, violence, poverty, hunger, abuse or whatever challenge big or small we face in daily life, with the purpose of getting to a better place,” according to the campaign’s website, MyJihad.org.

The campaign will include testimonials, op-eds, bus advertising and visits to mosques, Rehab said.

“This is a whitewash,” charged Robert Spencer, the author of several books about orthodox Islam.

Jihad, Spencer said, in Islamic texts “as well as in Islamic law, has always borne the primary meaning of warfare against unbelievers in order to affect their subjugation under Sharia.”

Islamists Exploiting the Interfaith Racket

The moral bankruptcy at the heart of such feel-good organizations is clearly on display. Like their fellow travelers in government and the mainstream media who ignore all available evidence, the collegial world of interfaith do-gooders burnish the credentials of bad actors, in an increasingly one-sided sense of tolerance, embracing the very haters they would otherwise oppose.

By Hillel Zaremba

While it is all well and good to encourage the commonalities that unite Americans of all faiths, it is equally important to inquire into the bona fides of organizations that only claim to promote tolerance. Philadelphia presents a sorry but enlightening example of how groups whose agendas directly challenge American values get a free pass from the interfaith establishment due largely to the firmly held belief that “diverse” (and disquieting) viewpoints must be respected — as long as they are Muslim.

A prime example of this is the Mayor’s Office of Faith-based Initiatives (MOFI), “the primary liaison between the Office of the Mayor and Philadelphia’s diverse communities of faith and their leaders.” Despite being provided with evidence of the U.S. government’s case against one of its partners, the terror-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the office’s interim director, Reverend Malcolm Byrd, declared: “We will engage with CAIR. … We don’t have to endorse you to work with you.” After reviewing the evidence, MOFI decided to maintain the relationship.

According to this twisted logic, MOFI ought to welcome the KKK, a group which misappropriates Christian symbols and beliefs, or local supporters of the Westboro Baptist Church, with their strident attacks on homosexuals and Jews. It does not, but it does welcome the Nation of Islam, whose leader Louis Farrakhan unabashedly declares Jews to be part of “the Synagogue of Satan.”

A similar approach is exhibited by the Interfaith Center of Greater Philadelphia (ICGP), “dedicated to interreligious dialogue, education, and community building.” It seemed reasonable to assume that the organization would want to vet its members to some degree, to be sure they truly embrace tolerance and respect for diversity. The ICGP’s executive director, Abby Stamelman Hocky, soon disabused us of that notion.

While teens that take part in an ICGP initiative called Walking the Walk are encouraged to ask “the tough questions,” Hocky was disinclined to take seriously information collected from the websites of three of the Muslim groups participating in it. If we really knew the leaders of these groups, we were told, we would be convinced they were, in truth, moderates; repeated requests to facilitate meetings with these leaders were ignored.

By ignoring the ideologies held by Muslim groups, the ICGP and others afford cover for those whose beliefs would otherwise be abhorrent to them, like the Villanova-based Foundation for Islamic Education (FIE). FIE has described itself as a satellite campus of Al-Azhar University of Cairo, while its leaders and faculty have sanctioned suicide attacks against Israeli civilians, defended the execution of Muslims who convert out of their faith and threatened Copts for questioning the Qur’an.

FIE used to hold summer “jihad camp” gatherings at its campus before 9/11 where one invited speaker justified suicide bombings. FIE has also hosted a radical cleric, banned from entering Canada, who has stated that “[moderate] Muslims … are those who … openly advocate lesbianism, those who are publicly declared homosexuals.”

Another Walk congregation is the Quba Institute (QI), aka the “International Muslim Brotherhood, Inc.” (IMB). A precise connection between QI/IMB and the global Muslim Brotherhood, parent organization of Hamas and al-Qaeda, is not completely clear: The Muslim Brotherhood was established by Hasan al-Banna in Egypt in the 1930s, around the same time that Muhammad Ezaldeen, an African-American convert to Islam, studied there. Ezaldeen later returned to the U.S. and founded an organization out of which the Philadelphia-based IMB grew.

According to QI’s old website (quoted here), the IMB “forged partnerships with the Muslim Student Associations [MSA] of local Universities” in the late 1960s, an organization identified by federal investigators as subscribing to the goal of teaching Muslims “that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands.”

This interfaith partner has hosted major Brotherhood ideologues like Abdul-Hamid Abu Sulaiman and Hassan Turabi. The former was a founding member of the Brotherhood’s intellectual beachhead in the U.S., the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), and served (1973 to 1979) as secretary general of World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), which publishes pro-armed jihad, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, and anti-Shi’ah literature. Turabi is the spiritual leader of Sudan’s National Islamic Front (NIF), which imposed Sharia on Muslim and non-Muslim alike, and was involved in mass enslavements and outright massacres of its own population. Turabi also hosted Osama bin Laden during his stay in Sudan. According to Oliver Revell, the FBI’s former top counterterrorism official, “anybody who brings in Hassan Turabi is supporting terrorists.”

An older version of the mosque’s website referenced the congregation’s core principles, including a commitment to U.S. law and rejection of terrorism as a “method for forwarding any … Muslim cause” with one important caveat:  armed jihad is permitted “in the context of self-defense or guarding the sacred, holy lands of Islam.” This is the same rationale used by Hamas to target Israel since it considers the entire state’s territory to be sacred to Islam. Bin Laden similarly justified his attacks against the U.S. in this way, viewing any American presence in Islamic lands as a form of infidel “occupation.”

This does not mean that QI/IMB is accused of plotting terrorist acts (though at least one congregant has been). It does mean that interfaith organizations ought to, at the very least, probe the statements and associations of their constituent members or facilitate others’ attempts to do so.

Anti-Semitism in Newton (MA) Schools

by Charles Jacobs:

Last year, the Wellesley Middle School was caught in a nasty controversy when  my organization, Americans for Peace and Tolerance (APT), released a shocking  video of a student trip to the Roxbury megamosque.

Viewers could see mosque staffers teach the students unadulterated propaganda  – among other things, that Muslim women got the vote before women in the West.  They also saw Wellesley boys prostrating themselves to Allah alongside Muslim  men. The controversy was covered extensively on Boston TV and radio, and the  video was seen by almost 500,000 people on YouTube.

As a result, Wellesley schools no longer visit that mosque. Good. But we also  asked Wellesley school administrators to go back to the students and correct the  false information they were taught, and then to explain what propaganda is.

They refused, and as far as we know, a class full of Wellesley students still  believe these falsehoods and don’t know they were lied to. Why are school  administrators afraid to tell the truth?

Now, the Newton public school system is enmeshed in a similar controversy  about deceptive lessons concerning Muslim women. This time there is an  anti-Semitic theme. As with Wellesley, the Newton school administrators are  refusing to tell the children they were lied to.

It began when a Newton parent learned that his daughter was being taught – in  a school handout — that Israelis incarcerate, torture and kill Palestinian  women.

The material came from “The Arab World Studies Notebook,” which has been  condemned by serious educators as blatant propaganda. How did this get into the  curriculum?

Margo Einstein, Newton’s pro- Jewish “community organizer,” sparked a growing  and organized effort to challenge the Newton schools. She has gathered a team of  parents and researchers to review the textbooks and circular materials that are  being used to teach about Arabs, Jews, Muslims and Christians in our  schools.

As a taxpaying Newton resident, I was allowed to address the School Committee  last week. A summary of my remarks (below) sketches out the problem and should  give enough examples to make us all concerned:

“Teachers in the Newton schools gave students a handout that defamed Israel’s  Jews as monsters and savages who imprison, torture and kill Palestinian women.  This is not only untrue, the opposite is true, that is, if you want to give  students truly horrific examples of violence, murder and intolerance in the  Middle East, you have all you can possibly want in Palestinian, Arab and Muslim  behavior and history. And not just history – just review the violence of the  Arab Spring, the daily slaughter of civilians in Afghanistan, Iraq and  Syria.

“But as the Newton schools are guided by what is politically correct, our  students cannot learn about any examples of non-Western misconduct. (You are  programming our students not to judge the “Other” – only people like us.)

“For example, Arabs today have black slaves in Sudan and Mauritania.

“But you cannot teach that truth. It does not fit the politically correct  narrative, that evil in the world comes from white Europeans – and everyone else  is a victim. If you point out the obvious, you are a bigot, blaming the victim.  “Newton students come from a culture that would not normally abandon blacks who  are enslaved today. Nor would they abandon women or gays who are oppressed, but  your politically correct education ensures that our children will not learn  about the plights of these people in the Islamic realm, or anywhere outside the  West for that matter – or that they will be afraid to speak about it. You will  have taught them that.

“But you (Newton schools) did give students ‘A Muslim Primer,’ which touts as  the best guide to understanding Islam and human rights, by the Egyptian scholar  Sayyid Qutb. But it turns out that Sayyid Qutb is the intellectual father of the  Muslim Brotherhood. His books are filled with calls for Jihad against Christian,  Jewish and secular Muslim societies. The book you gave them promotes the man who  inspired Osama bin Laden.

“Women in the Muslim world are third-class citizens. But nobody will explain  this in Newton to our students. It’s taboo.

“Instead, Newton North students have been given handouts describing the  Muslim world as, I kid you not, ‘a world where womanhood reigns supreme,’ where  women are freer than Western women, who apparently ‘have less control over their  destiny.’

“Gays are hanged in public squares in Iran, and Christians are besieged by  mobs in Cairo, driven from Iraq and terrified in Damascus. But these essential  facts are not politically correct and therefore taboo in Newton schools.

Dems Tap Radical Islamists for Cash

by Steve Emerson and John Rossamando:

The Investigative Project on Terrorism has learned that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi headlined a Democratic Party fundraiser with leaders of Hamasand Muslim Brotherhood front groups in May of this year.

The invitation-only fundraiser was sponsored by Reps. Keith Ellison, D-Minn.; Andre Carson, D-Ind.; and Steve Israel, D-N.Y., chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, and took place on the evening of May 16, 2012, at the W Hotel in Washington D.C.

In attendance were about 20 members of a Syrian dissident group and 10 officials representing Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas front groups. Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) Executive Director Nihad Awad was perhaps the most prominent attendee and played a key role in organizing the event.

CAIR, an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007-2008 Holy Land Foundation Hamas money-laundering trials, was described in FBI testimony as having been created by Hamas. In a 2007 federal court filing, prosecutors described CAIR as conspiring with other branches of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists.

The FBI officially severed relations with CAIR in 2008 because of its ties to Hamas.

Awad has openly championed Hamas and defended suicide bombings as “legitimate resistance.”

Also in attendance was Jamal Barzinji, a founding father of the Muslim Brotherhood in America and co-founder of the Muslim Students Association (MSA), an incubator for Islamic radicalism in North America. MSA was the forerunner of Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT).

Barzinji was named in a federal affidavit as being closely associated with Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas. His name appears in a global phone book of Muslim Brotherhood members recovered by Italian and Swiss authorities in Nov. 2001 from the home of Al-Taqwa Bank of Lugano founder Youssef Nada, one of the leaders of the international Muslim Brotherhood.

During the fundraiser, Pelosi sat at the same table with Awad and Barzinji.

Speaking to the attendees in her 10-minute address, she said the Democratic Party should become the natural home of Muslim-Americans, because Republicans fan the flames of “Islamophobia.” She focused exclusively on Islamophobia, a term devised by radical Islamists and their apologists to silence critics, while avoiding any mention of terrorism carried out by Islamists in the United States.

Also speaking were Israel, Ellison, Carson, and Reps Alyson Schwartz, D-Pa., and Chris Murphy, D-Conn. Israel and Murphy were said to have been the most vehement among the members of Congress in attendance in terms of their incendiary accusations of Republican-incited Islamophobia. One observer said that it was striking that “there was not a scintilla of comments in defense of U.S. national security.” However, they welcomed each of the Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood front groups represented at the event into the “Democratic community” without any mention of their well-documented terror links.

Treating Islam with Special Reverence is Cultural Suicide and Just Plain Wrong

by JAMES  DELIN

My brilliant niece Freya was talking to my brother the other day about the  religious education curriculum at her predominately white, middle-class state  school in a pretty English cathedral city. She happened to mention ‘Mohammed,  Peace Be Upon Him.’ ‘Eh?’ said my brother. ‘It’s what we’re taught at school.  After we mention “Mohammed” we have to say “Peace be upon him”.’

Now I know what you’re thinking: that Freya must surely have got the wrong  end of the stick. ‘If this were a madrassa in Bradford, well maybe,’ you’ll be  thinking. ‘But at a white, middle-class state school in a pretty English  cathedral city? No way. Things aren’t that bad. At least not yet, anyway…’

But Freya is not stupid. That’s why, at the beginning, I referred to her as  my ‘brilliant’ niece as opposed to my ‘incredibly thick’ one. Apparently, she  assures me, they’ve been taught to use the ‘peace be upon him’ formula since  Year 7 and though they’re allowed to shorten it to PBUH, they’re definitely not  supposed to call him just Mohammed. ‘There’s sometimes the odd snigger when the  phrase comes up but we’ve been conditioned pretty much to accept it as normal,’  says Freya. ‘It’s a bit weird, given that there’s only two Muslim kids in my  year of 100.’

I find this scary for at least two reasons. The first is what it says about  the death of our national identity. When Freya’s father and I were at school, we  had to go to ‘chapel’ once a day, and twice on Sundays. In our scripture classes  we were taught all the key bible stories, even to the point of having to learn  the names of all the apostles. It didn’t turn us into religious freaks – anything but. What it did instil in us, however, was a sense of history and  tradition. Like generations before us we were members of the Anglican Church,  familiar with the same tales, the same liturgy, the same hymns and psalms, the  same rituals, the same boredom.

Before the 1980s, I suspect, this was the experience of most British  children, regardless of their race or religious background. It wasn’t a question  of forcing Christianity down anyone’s throat – merely an accepted part of the  fabric of British life. You went to church (at least occasionally – Christmas at  any rate) in the same way you watched Top of the Pops and Morecambe  and Wise, or you had roast beef and Yorkshire pud for Sunday lunch. It just  was what you did.

Not any more. Sure, the old religion is still covered in RE classes, but at  state schools like Freya’s only as an equally valid and certainly by no means  preferable alternative to Judaism, Sikhism, Islam and the rest. ‘Jesus was the  son of God! Do you agree?’ asks a sample Key Stage 3 question from Freya’s  school website. Well, what a bloody stupid question to ask an 11-year-old. How  are they possibly going to be intellectually equipped to produce any kind of  meaningful answer?

A teacher at my old school, Malvern, told me that when new kids arrive he can  no longer rely on their being familiar with even the most basic prayers and  bible stories. No doubt the progressives who devised the new God-free curriculum  will congratulate themselves on having finally freed young minds from the  shackles of organised religion. (Probably they read somewhere that religion has  caused more wars than, like, anything, man). But what they’ve really done is  impoverished and deracinated and dumbed down a generation. They’ve denied Freya  and her contemporaries the key that might one day have helped them unlock  everything from ‘The Dream of the Rood’ to ‘The Whitsun Weddings’. They’ve  vandalised 1,400 years of the history, literature and traditions which bound us  as a nation.

But our failure to defend our culture is only the second scariest part of the  PBUH story. The scariest, of course, is what it tells us not just about the  growing dominance of Islamism but about our cowardice, fear and ignorance in so  easily surrendering to it.

CIA Hosts Training by Muslim Brotherhood Leader and Hamas Supporter

by  John Guandolo:

Over the last several years, the presence of Muslim Brotherhood (MB) operatives working inside the federal government advising our senior leaders has been definitively documented (see articles here , here and here).  This penetration of our system is shocking and constitutes an immediate danger for American citizens.  The success of the MB’s influence operation from within our government is now manifesting itself with national and global implications for the security of America and its citizens.

In July of this year, the CIA hosted a 2-day training program at its headquarters in Langley, Virginia entitled “Countering Violent Extremism Workshop for the National Capitol Region.”

Present at this conference were local, state, and federal officials from nearly every law enforcement, military, and intelligence organization around the Washington Metropolitan area.  In addition to the senior CIA, FBI, and DHS officials conducting the training, members of the Muslim community moderated and led the training throughout the 2-day program.  Notable among these was Imam Mohammed Magid who participated in speaking about “Building Communities of Trust:  A Local Example of a Partnership between the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) and Law Enforcement.”

How was Imam Magid vetted to speak at CIA Headquarters?  And who vetted him?

The ADAMS Center is a Muslim Brotherhood front organization.  It was founded by some of the most senior Muslim Brothers in the United States, to include Ahmed Totanji, who still resides in Herndon, Virginia.  Its website proclaims “[ADAMS] is a membership organization registered in the State of Virginia as a non-profit, tax exempt corporation and is affiliated with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).”

Imam Magid is the Executive Director of the ADAMS Center.  He is also the President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the largest Muslim Brotherhood organization in the U.S. which was found to be a financial support entity for Hamas in the largest terrorism financing and Hamas trial in U.S. history (US v Holy Land Foundation, Dallas, 2008).  Having Magid advise and teach U.S. intelligence and law enforcement officials can only be aptly described as insane.  According to officials at Langley who were willing to speak on the condition of anonymity, this is an outrage – but none of the leaders on the inside seem to understand the gravity of this threat.  To say the fox is in the hen house would be an understatement.

The Jihadist Infiltration of the British Government

by Cheradenine Zakalwe

Some years ago, the British people were startled to recognise that their country had become one of the main hubs of the international jihad. Even the Pakistani government complained through diplomatic channels that its own citizens were being radicalised by Muslims from Britain! Now yet more incidents stage in national self-awareness is dawning about the effect of the Muslim presence in our midst. It is no longer simply the case that jihadists are operating from inside the country; they are now operating from inside the government.

Recent newspaper reports revealed that Baroness Warsi (sic), the supposed emblem of Muslim modernity, is involved in a business partnership with Abid Hussain, one of the leading members of Hizb ut-Tahrir. It emerged today that Hussain is also her husband’s second cousin.

It seems you just need to stick your arm out inside Britain’s Muslim community if you want to find a jihadist. In the book, the Islamic Republic of Dewsbury, journalist Danny Lockwood reported that when Warsi petitioned for a sharia divorce from her first husband, who was also her cousin, it was to an imam who was the grandfather of Britain’s youngest ever convicted terrorist.

The Labour party, too, has been infiltrated by those with ties to jihadists. Indeed, the Deputy Leader of the Labour party, Sadiq Khan, is the lifelong from of Babar Ahmad, a man indicted in the US on charges of “conspiracy to provide material to support terrorists, namely the Taliban and the Chechen Mujahideen; providing material to support terrorists; and conspiracy to kill in a foreign country”. Ahmad ran a website recruiting jihadi militants to go and fight the Russian in Chechnya and Coalition troops in Afghanistan. When arrested, he had in his possession plans for an American carrier battle group with written notations on it like “vulnerable to RPG”.

Since the indictment, Khan has refused to sever his ties with his jihad-supporting friend. Indeed, Khan has shamelessly used his position as Shadow Justice Minister to help Ahmad in any way that he can, demanding that he be tried in Britain rather than extradited to the US, even though the terrorist recruitment website Ahmad is alleged to have assisted was operating out of the US. Ahmad was indicted in 2004 but has still not been extradited thanks to a series of delaying actions his lawyers and supporters, including Sadiq Khan, have fought. If the Labour party get back into power, there has to be a suspicion that the power of the government will be used to influence the outcome of the proceedings in Ahmad’s favour, corruptly or otherwise.

In Scotland, Humza Yousaf has seems to have a charmed political life. Yousaf is the cousin of Osama Saeed, a former spokesman for the Muslim Council of Britain, which is acknowledged to be the British front group for the Muslim Brotherhood. Both Yousaf and Saeed were directors of the Scottish Islamic Foundation, which pocketed hundreds of thousands of pounds of taxpayer money on the promise that it would deliver an Islamic festival called IslamExpo. The festival never materialised, but most of the money disappeared. While preparing for this Islam festival, the SIF made contact with a number of Muslim radicals. As a director of SIF, Yousaf even took one Mohammed Sawalha to a meeting with Scottish government officials. Sawalha has been described as a “Hamas terror commander” in a US government affidavit.

Yousaf’s jihad ties don’t seem to have impeded his career, nor, strangely, his relationship with the US government. In 2008, he participated in the US State Department’s International Visitor Leadership programme, a rather curious indoctrination scheme which the US government offers to those it sees as the future leaders of foreign countries. Since then, Yousaf’s life has glided on a golden track. Last year, he was appointed a member of the Scottish parliament for the ruling Scottish National Party. I say appointed rather than elected because, owing to the quirks of Scotland’s proportional representation system, Yousaf did not need to get elected. His name appeared at the top of a list of approved candidates, giving him a guaranteed seat through what is called the Regional List system.

Since then, Yousaf has scarcely been out of the headlines, constantly agitating for the Muslim cause and acting as if he had the moral authority that comes from election, rather than appointment. The Scottish media behave like pussycats towards him. STV, Scotland’s leading private television station, even features a blog written by him, a bizarre privilege extended to no other party or politician.

Perhaps the most mysterious thing about the jihadist penetration of Britain’s leading political parties is how little comment it gives rise to. You would think journalists would be desperate to find stories like this: prominent politicians with ties to violent radicals. But no. Coverage of the issue is simply blanked. And it’s not as if they don’t know about the connections either. I have personally written to several Scottish journalists and news organisations pointing out, and documenting, Humza Yousaf’s ties to Hamas terrorists. Given that Yousaf is going around demanding the suppression of Scottish Defence League (SDL) events because they allegedly promote hate, the fact of his Hamas ties is surely at least newsworthy. But no. They’re not interested. Nor are they interested in asking Yousaf any questions about the shady dealings of the Scottish Islamic Foundation, nor his connection to Osama Saeed, who praised the now dead terrorist leader Anwar Al-Awlaki. It’s almost enough to make you believe in Soviet-type media control.

If journalists don’t pick the story up, though, surely political opponents would? But no. There, too, a conspiracy of silence reigns. I cannot recall the Conservatives ever criticising the Labout Party for having a Deputy Leader with close ties to an indicted terrorist. Nor has a murmur about Humza Yousaf’s dodgy connections ever passed the lips of his Labour opponents in Scotland. And as scandals have recently bloomed like weeds around Baroness Warsi, politicians and journalists have focused on the relatively more trivial aspects of her possible expenses fraud and her failure to declare financial interests, ignoring the surely far more significant fact that the Chairman of Britain’s ruling political party, and a cabinet minister with high-level security clearance, has business and family ties to a leading member of an organisation that openly advocates the creation of an Islamic superstate, the Caliphate, followed by jihad against the rest of the world if it refuses to accept Islam!

We face a bizarre conspiracy of silence throughout the media and political landscape. This is how a civilisation dies, when what would once have been unthinkable becomes simply routine; when what would once have provoked outrage now merits only a shrug.

The fact is it doesn’t much matter which party wins the next election. Because they have all been infiltrated.

The Muslim Brotherhood, Part V – Al-Ikhwan Al-Muslimun in the 21st Century

by PETER  FARMER:

Part I – A Brief History of the Muslim  Brotherhood (Can be found by clicking here)

Part II – The Muslim Brotherhood – Haj Amin  al-Husseini (Can be found by clicking here)

Part III – The Muslim Brotherhood – Hitler’s  Imam

Part IV – he Muslim Brotherhood –  Sayyid  Qutb

From its humble beginnings in 1928, the Muslim Brotherhood has grown into a  global Pan-Islamic movement. The group is riding a wave of successes as it moves  into the 21st century. Despite many setbacks, the “Brethren” have been  remarkably successful in advancing their agenda not only in the Middle East but  around the world. What factors can account for their success? The following  analysis considers some of the most-critical ones.

1. The Muslim Brotherhood has sharply-defined its mission and core values in  its motto, “Allah is our objective; the Quran is our law, the Prophet is our  leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our  aspirations. Members know what the group stands for, and the goals  for which it is striving. In military terms, the motto functions as a set of  mission orders which set forth the objectives for which the individual believer  is striving.

2. The Muslim Brotherhood functions, in part, according to the “leaderless  movement” model and functions as a distributed network. Although the group has a  leadership hierarchy and bureaucracy, it pushes much operational responsibility  down to the local level. Local groups are compartmentalized cells or  “franchises,” which are capable of independent operation as well as coordinated  action. By using small cells as the basic unit of organization, the Brotherhood  enhances its resiliency and also makes infiltration and penetration by outsiders  and enemies more difficult.

3.  The bureaucracy of the movement is divided into a General  Organizational Council, composed of delegates from individual chapters of the  Brotherhood; the Shura Council, which formulates the general goals of the  organization; and an Executive Office, which implements the directives of the  Shura and GOC.  Within this bureaucracy are found offices devoted to  executive leadership, education, fund-raising, political action, finance, and  affairs of the Muslim Sisterhood.

4. The Muslim Brotherhood has links to a vast number of international,  national, regional and local organizations, including Islamic charities,  madrasas and schools, clinics/hospitals, newspapers/publishing houses, and  electronic media outlets. The movement also has an office devoted to propaganda  and public relations, and maintains websites in Arabic, English and many other  languages. This network functions to cultivate new followers, collect donations  and funds, and also to provide services to Muslims around the globe. These  groups are also part-and-parcel of the civilizational jihad project of the  Brotherhood – whose aim is to spread Islam into the non-Muslim world. Moreover,  this web of services assures the continued good will – and financial support –  of existing members. Patrons of the group include many fabulously-wealthy  members of the royal families of the Middle East.

5. Like many of today’s most-successful crime syndicates, the Muslim  Brotherhood goes to great lengths to present a “respectable” face to the world  at large, while hiding the often-brutal and violent means it uses to advance its  agenda. Since the 1960s, the organization has publicly-disavowed violence –  while continuing its clandestine support of the PLO-Fatah, Black September,  Hamas, Hezbollah, al-Qaeda and other terrorist and direct-action groups. The  dual nature of the group functions offers a degree of protection from  retaliation by its enemies. Using proxies for direct-action also provides the  organization a degree of plausible deniability and helps maintain its cover as a  “legitimate” organization.

6. The Muslim Brotherhood have proven to be skilled manipulators of the  western, left-leaning press. The movement’s tactics include a heavy reliance on  disinformation, psychological operations and propaganda to advance its agenda in  the non-Islamic world, and obscure its intentions. This objective is  accomplished via multiple means, but one of the most common is through  non-profit organizations such as CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations),  the MSA (Muslim Student Association), and other front groups, which promote  Pan-Islamic views in their respective spheres of influence. The Ikhwan also have  a significant presence at Al-Jazeera, the Arabic-language cable TV  network.  These initiatives are funded by petrodollars flowing from Saudi  Arabia and the other Sunni Arab Gulf States.

7. Consistent with its goal of civilizational jihad and stealth sharia, the  Brotherhood has targeted schools and universities as focal points of its efforts  to advance Islam into the western world. In Texas, independent researchers  discovered that a wealthy Muslim was trying to influence the textbook and the  lesson plans used in public schools. Many universities have received extremely  generous gifts from Muslim benefactors in return for opening Centers for the  Study of Islam or similar initiatives. Naturally, these centers are staffed by  academicians sympathetic to the Muslim Brotherhood and Pan-Islamism in  general.

8. As shown by the recent controversy involving Secretary of State Hillary  Clinton and her senior aide, Huma Abedin – a member of the Muslim Sisterhood –  the movement has also been very active at infiltrating the government and the  military. The notorious Ft. Hood shooter and mass murderer, psychiatrist Nidal  Hasan (who had the inscription “SoA” or “Soldier of Allah” on his U.S. Army  business cards) and U.S. Army Sergeant Hasan Akbar (who killed two fellow  soldiers in a grenade attack in Kuwait in 2003) attest to the degree of  penetration by Islamists into government and the military.

9. The Muslim Brothers have made a concerted effort to reach out to  disaffected blacks; the movement has also recruited extensively from the U.S.  prison population. The preferred method of the Brotherhood is to sponsor imams  who then go into prisons and recruit/convert inmates. Of course, these outreach  efforts omit or hide the historical crimes committed by Muslims against blacks,  such as the role of Islamic slave-traders  in the capture and sale of  Africans into bondage during the height of the trans-Atlantic slave trade – and  the continued , wide-spread existence of illicit slavery within the Islamic  world today.

10. The communications strategy of the group has been to tone-down or dilute  statements made to the non-Islamic or western press, while continuing to preach  jihad, sharia and Islamic supremacy to Muslim audiences. This same strategy is  followed by imams in mosques across the western world. Thereby, western  audiences are presented with an image of Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood  utterly at-odds with the one Muslims themselves are seeing, hearing and  reading.

11. Spearheaded by such groups as the Organization of Islamic Conference and  supported by the Muslim Brotherhood, attempts are now-underway at the United  Nations to criminalize criticism of Islam.

Muslim Brotherhood in America: What’s to be Done?

In view of the frightening events taking place in the Muslim world I thought it appropriate to post this again. We cannot let fear overtake us. If you are just now tuning in to the threat of the Global Islamic Movement  I urge you to take the time to view all 10 parts of this masterful in depth course by Frank Gaffney. For those who have been following the counter jihad movement for some time it is worth reviewing at least the last episode of the series. And there are many suggestions for what you can do to join in the fight under the Activism button on the menu of this website.

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” (Edmund Burke)

Part 10 of Frank Gaffney’s Muslim Brotherhood in America online course:

What’s to be Done?

How to defeat the most serious and imminent of such dangers in our time: the Islamist doctrine of shariah and the efforts of its adherents to impose it world-wide, on Muslims and non-Muslims alike, through violent means or by stealth.

Key Findings in Part 10

  • Every effort must be made to defeat the most serious and imminent of ideological danger in our time: the Islamist doctrine of shariah and the efforts of its adherents to impose it worldwide, on Muslims and non-Muslims alike, through violent means or by stealth.
  • This can be accomplished through concerted action at three levels:
    • Individual initiatives
    • Organized efforts by groups
    • National action
  • Illustrative examples of each include:
    • Individual initiatives: Becoming knowledgeable about the threat from shariah and the Muslim Brotherhood who seek to bring it here and trained in how best to counter such a threat
    • Organized efforts:Supporting state-level legislation to prevent foreign laws like shariah that violate constitutional rights from being practiced in the state’s courts
    • National action:  Designating the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization and terminating all outreach to and support of this group and its various fronts, both here and abroad.

Muslim Brotherhood-ISNA Convention: “Don’t Talk to the FBI”

Pamela Geller:

Suhail Khan, Tariq Ramadan, John Esposito, the Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and Karen Armstrong all appeared at the ISNA convention, thereby revealing their true colors. This is what former FBI agent John Guandolo says about ISNA:

  • The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) is the largest  Muslim Brotherhood (MB) organization in North America, created to be the “nucleus” for the Islamic Movement, according to MB documents seized by the FBI in Annandale, Virginia in 2004.
  • Because of the evidence ISNA is a Brotherhood front, as well as  the numerous financial documents detailing money going directly from  ISNA and their banks to Hamas entities overseas, ISNA is an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest Hamas trial ever successfully prosecuted in U.S. history (US v. Holy Land Foundation), which was adjudicated in 2008 in Dallas, Texas.
  • When ISNA filed a motion with the federal court to have their  name removed from the unindicted co-conspirator list, the government  stated that ISNA exists to be a financial support entity for Hamas. The  federal judge agreed stating the government provided “ample evidence” and left ISNA on the list. A three-judge appellate panel unanimously agreed and left ISNA on the unindicted co-conspirator list.
  • ISNA’s two key directors and its President, Mohamed Magid (pictured above), all work with Secretary Clinton and her office. So, the leaders of a Hamas-supporting entity are advising the U.S. Secretary of State.

Here is the official TVC/VAST report on the Hamas-linked Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) convention, by an eyewitness who managed to get in:

ISNA CONVENTION OFFERS TWO VIEWS OF ISLAM – THE MANUFACTURED PUBLIC PERSONA AND THE TRUTH

Washington, DC – The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) 2012 annual convention offered some stark contrasts between the Islam portrayed in CAIR press releases and speeches and the unavoidable facts about Islam’s size and objectives.

A project of the Traditional Values Coalition (TVC) and the Virginia Anti-Shariah Task Force (VAST) monitored several key briefings and presentations at the convention.

Sessions ran the gamut from “Islamic Finance” to Islam’s Response to Domestic Violence in the Muslim Community to If You Care About Your Future-I Spy With My NYPD Eye.

Some speakers criticized President Barack Obama for “letting down” Islam and not doing enough to advance its cause in America.  One official, CAIR Founder and long-time HAMAS/Muslim Brotherhood operative Nihad Awad, complained that the White House treats him and other activists like an ugly step-child.

Awad said that Muslim names are not published on the official White House visitor’s log.

“Even those who go to the White House and have a reception that’s great.  But their names are not published on the official list. Why?  Because Muslim money and votes are radioactive.”

Nihad Awad, ISNA Annual Convention September 1, 2012

Panel on Forming a More Perfect Union

The general rule established in many presentations was “Don’t Talk to the FBI”, don’t allow anylaw enforcement to enter your home or business without a search warrant and never talk with any police without a lawyer present.

Substantial portions of the convention program were devoted to vilifying three law enforcement agencies– the Intelligence Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the New York City Police Department (NYPD), and the Joint Taskforce on Terrorism.

Deceptively named, the panel on “Working with Law Enforcement to Uphold our Civil Liberties” was anything but that.  All three panelists attacked law enforcement for using various techniques to monitor individuals believed to be a threat to our nation’s security.   Additionally, each speaker cautioned that law enforcement agencies have had too much access to the Muslim community with disastrous results.

Mike German, former FBI agent and now ACLU Policy Counsel on National Security, Immigration and Privacy repeatedly warned against speaking to the FBI and otherlaw enforcement. German advised ISNA members and allies that when approached by the FBI ask which division they are in. If they are from the FBI’s Office of Community Outreach or Office of Public Affairs, German suggested it was probably ok to speak with them.  However, if they were from the FBI Intelligence Division or the Joint Taskforce on Terrorism –German warned that they were not to be trusted and advised that individuals needed a lawyerpresent when speaking to them.

Ms. Rabia Chaudry also warned the Muslim community not to speak with law enforcement without a lawyer, stating that there needed to be some new “rules of engagement.”   Like many other speakers at the convention, she expressed outrage that government officials would dare monitor any Muslims or suggest their involvement in terrorism.

Not one panelist, in various sessions, acknowledged the reality of “home-grown terrorism.”   Rather, speakers and attendees alike mocked both the idea and Congressman Peter King of New York for holding Congressional hearings.

Chaudry repeatedly made it clear that the FBI, NYPD -who she called the “Big Bad Wolf”- and other agencies were not to be trusted.

Chaudry works with the Saudi-funded front group Center for Muslim Christian Understanding, serves as an immigration lawyer, as well as a board member of the Connecticut ACLU and is President of the Safe Nation Collaborative.  As President of the collaborative, Chaudry is working with the Obama Administration to rewrite the training manuals used to teach law enforcement personnel about the Islamist threat to America. She and others also want to ensure the new training manuals are “culturally sensitive”.

James Zogby, President of the Arab American Institute and co-founder and chairman of the Palestine Human Rights Campaign continued the rant against law enforcementand the Obama Administration, complaining that things are “seen through the lens of Israel.”

Zogby encouraged the Muslim community to use “old fashioned guilt” tactics to extract what they want from the White House, Obama Administration and law enforcement as a result of law enforcementmonitoring the Muslim community. He referenced a tough letter he had sent to the White House as an “ultimatum.

Referring to law enforcement, Zogby stated, you are “screwing up the world because you don’t talk to us” and then boldly proclaimed that

This is no longer a white world.  This world is dominated by us, people of color.” James Zogby, ISNA Annual Convention, September 2, 2012

Panel on Working with Law Enforcement to Uphold our Civil Liberties

Zogby a delegate to the Democrat National Convention, opposed reinstating language in the party platform recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel because he said it was pandering to the Jewish vote.  Zogby is the brother of pollster John Zogby.

Conference speakers estimated the Muslim population of America as either “2-3 million” or “7 million”,depending on which version suited the argument they were making at the moment.

Many speakers including Suhail Kahn focused on the work of Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer andlawyer David Yerushalmi.  An extensive campaign was outlined to stop what speakers said was a growing public sentiment against Shariah and challenge Geller/Spencer’s media presence and busy schedule of public speeches in strategic states.

Of course, ISNA also included an angry rant about the dominance of Israel on the American political scene and set a legislative priority of eliminating all U.S. foreign aid to the state of Israel.

The focus of the convention’s program was on three key messages:

  1. Refining Islam’s public image and presenting an apologetics course on what to do when confronted about the facts concerning Islam’s campaign to dominate the West.
  2. Continue the barrage of attacks on the most effective law enforcement agencies (FBI, NYPD, etc.) and challenge their efforts to stop the use of non-profit front groups to launder American dollars on their way to arming and supplying front-line terrorists here and in other countries.  (Increasing regulation and scrutiny of electronic fundtransfers is a grave concern to the ISNA attendees.)
  3. Continuing efforts to affect official Washington while recognizing that local police and government officials may be a more fertile ground for winning greater control.

I Know Fear: Anti-Semitism, Islamist Intimidation Bring Europe Back

By Giulio Meotti

When kippah-wearing Jews and non-Jews march in Sweden to show that they have no fear, I know fear.

When anti-Semitism is again the most common currency of politics in Europe, I know fear.

When the Chief Rabbi of Lyon receives death threats with menacing photos, I know fear.

When a rabbi and his daughter are assaulted in the middle of Berlin, I know fear.

When guards patrol the streets near Rome’s Jewish school with metal detectors, searching for explosives, I know fear.

When I, a non-Jew,  receive letters saying “dear feces eating insect, scratch around the Zionist dung as it’s natural for you” and my name appears in the list of the “mafia ebraica”, I know fear.

When Bruxelles debates the criminalization of “Islamophobia” like the Soviet Union did with “deviationism”, I know  fear.

When circumcision is persecuted in Germany, like during the Shoah when the Jewish ritual could bring with it a death sentence, I know fear.

When Hizbullah officials speak at the Sorbonne University, I know fear.

When cartoonists’ houses are protected as bunkers with cameras, I know fear.

When the office of French magazine Charlie Hebdo is attacked by a firebomb, I know fear.

When even the pencils of visitors of Geert Wilders are searched by the police, I know fear.

When the brave German journalist Henryk Broder is sued for using the term “anti-Semite”, I know fear

When Israeli historians escape lynchings in London by keffiyah-clad Muslims, I know fear.

When in Tolouse Jews are gunned down and nobody cares anymore, I know fear.

Today, fear dominates the heart of the very few writers and journalists who are willing to say the truth.

When many of them are put on trial because of their ideas, I know fear.

Because Jews and journalists are like the canary in the coalmine.

If Europe fails to protect them, it must be feared that soon nobody will soon feel safe in Europe.

Eric Zemmour, Jewish journalist and author, has been found guilty of racial hatred after telling a TV chat show that drug dealers were mostly “blacks and Arabs”. A few weeks ago, Zemmour was dismissed from his radio show.

The late Italian writer Oriana Fallaci went on trial in France and Italy, where anti-racist leftist associations compared her to Osama bin Laden.

Alain Finkielkraut, a distinguished French philosopher, has been sued for racial hatred for having said that if the ghetto riots of 2005 “were whites, like in Rostock in Germany … everyone would have said: ‘Fascism won’tbe tolerated’”. Since then, Finlielkraut has been silent. That’s why I fear.

Because attacks work.

If the writer Michel Houellebecq was on trial for his novel “Platform” and for interviews where he criticized Islam, other journalists became refugees in their own countries.

In the Netherlands, where filmmaker Theo van Gogh was killed by a Muslim for his criticism of Islam, cartoonist Gregorious Nekshot uses a pseudonym to protect himself. At the University of Leiden, Rembrandt’s city, the office of Law Professor Afshin Ellian, who escaped the Iranian religious dictatorship, is protected by bulletproof walls and policemen.

The French philosopher Robert Redeker has been sentenced to death in an Islamist website that, in order to facilitate a potential assassin’s task, provided his address, telephone and a photograph of his home. Redeker told me how he now lives: “I cannot go out to buy bread or newspapers or for a glass of wine. I cannot walk in the streets. I am a refugee in my own country. I cannot take the train, bus or subway. I receive mail in a place far from my home. I have no contact with the people of the area where I chose to live. The police guards my house. To avoid the waiting room, a doctor comes to my home. A friend cuts my hair. Friends have become rare. My gaze on mankind is no longer the same. It’s full of melancholy”.

Demonization and persecution hunt down everybody dissenting from political correctness.
