The 8th anniversary of ‘The Rape Jihad’

Is the Beslan Massacre a practice-run against Western schools?

Eight years ago today, Chechen Muslim terrorists launched an attack on a school in Beslan, Russia that resulted in the slaughter of 338 people.

Of that number, 172 were children.

Largely ignored by the Western media, the Russians haven’t forgotten the savagery the terrorists propagated against a civilized people during the Beslan Massacre.

Of the few outlets that gave extensive coverage to Beslan, Front Page Magazine reported:

“Meanwhile, Indira Dzetskelova, the mother of one of the child hostages in Beslan, Russia, reports that ‘several 15-year-old girls were raped by terrorists.’

Her daughter ‘heard their terrible cries and screams when those monsters took them away.'”

London’s The Sunday Mirror also published:

“While despairing soldiers and rescue workers moved among the growing pile of body bags, it was revealed that an 18-month-old baby had been repeatedly stabbed by a black-clad terrorist who had run out of ammunition.

Other survivors told how screaming teenage girls were dragged into rooms adjoining the gymnasium where they were being held and raped by their Chechen captors who chillingly made a video film of their appalling exploits.”

In a 2006 3-day conference sponsored by the International Assn. of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors, presenters  Lt. Col. Dave Grossman (US Army, Retired), and Todd Rassa (SigArms Academy) highlighted some of the more significant aspects of the siege:

If a similar assault were launched against a school in your jurisdiction, how would you and your agency respond? Consider this modest sampling of challenges that were deliberately planned or arose from the ensuing chaos at Beslan, as outlined by Rassa:

“The school was chosen because it was one of the taller buildings in the area and had a very complicated floor plan, making a rapid and effective counter-assault by responders extremely difficult. Offender weaponry included AK-47s, sniper rifles, RPGs and explosives, with everything the terrorists needed carried in on their backs. RPGs were fired at a responding military helicopter and at troops.

More than 1,000 men, women and children, including babies, were penned in an unventilated gym and a cafeteria. As the days passed without food or water and inside temperatures rose to 115 degrees, survivors were eating flowers they’d brought for teachers and fighting for urine to drink out of their shoes in desperation. Women and some children were repeatedly and continuously raped.     * Adult males and larger male students were used as ‘forced labor’ to help fortify the building, then shot to death. Bodies were thrown out of an upper-story window, down onto a courtyard. Attempts at negotiation by responders were used by the terrorists strictly as an opportunity to buy time to solidify their fortifications.

Surviving hostages were surrounded by armed guards standing on deadman switches, wired to explosives. All entrances to the building as well as stairwells and some interior doorways were booby-trapped. Youngsters were forced to sit on window sills to serve as shields for snipers. ‘Black widows’ (potential suicide bombers) were rigged so their bomb belts could be detonated by remote control when leaders considered the timing was right. The terrorists stayed cranked up on some type of amphetamine to keep awake.

Armed, outraged parents and other civilians, some of them drunk, showed up and started “rolling gunfights” outside in a futile effort to defeat the takeover. The crowd identified one embedded terrorist and ‘literally ripped him apart.’ The media was everywhere, unrestrained. So many people were milling around that responders often could not establish a clear field of fire.

When troops finally stormed the school in a counter-assault on the third day, ‘pure pandemonium’ reigned. Soldiers and the kids they were trying to rescue were gunned down mercilessly. Explosions touched off inside started multiple fires.

Responders who made it inside had to jump over trip wires as they ‘ran’ up stairs under fire from above. By then terrorists were holding hostages in virtually every room. Rescue teams were subjected to continual ambushes. Gunfights occurred predominately within a 6-ft. range, with some responders having to fight for their lives in places so cramped they couldn’t get off their hands and knees.

Some children successfully rescued from the building were so crazed by thirst that they ran to an outdoor spigot and were killed by a grenade as they filled their hands with water.

Terrorists who escaped during the melee ran to homes of embedded sympathizers who hid them successfully and were not immediately suspected because they were considered ‘non-strangers’ in the community. Some townspeople who volunteered to help as stretcher bearers for the injured were, in fact, embedded terrorists.

During the siege ‘at least four people or agencies claimed to be in charge. Actually, no one was in charge and no one wanted to be.'”

A “dress rehearsal for what terrorists plan to do to us” has already taken place, Rassa and Grossman agreed.

Rassa claimed that floor plans for half a dozen schools in Virginia, Texas and New Jersey have been recovered from terrorist hands in Iraq.

American Schools In The Crosshairs…

In a presentation used by law enforcement agencies such as the Los Angeles Police Department, the Illinois State Police Academy and the North Carolina Dept. of Justice, Active Shooter and 4th/5th Generation Warfare states on slides 48-66:

Mass Slaughter in Our Schools: The Terrorists’ Chilling Plan  By Chuck Remsberg

Terrorist Attack Plan

- Preparation for attacks on American Schools are well underway in Islamic terrorist camps – The terrorists have warned us that they will attack our schools – They have already begun testing school-related targets in the U.S. – For terrorists, “a successful attack is one we are not ready for.” Lt. Col. Dave Grossman

Why Schools?

Our Values – The most sacred thing to us are our children – Killing hundreds of children will boost the terrorist’s morale and lower ours, leaving us stunned Our Lack of Preparation – Police deal with crime, but school attacks are war – Police are the first line of defense. Are we ready? – If a large scale school attack occurs, parents will stay home. The economy will be devastated.

How Do We Know They Are Coming?

- Al-Qaeda has said that they have the right to kill two million American Children – Al-Qaeda terrorists have been video-taped practicing school takeovers and issuing commands in English – Islamic religious literature condones killing children if it is done for the “general good” -Target scouting and infiltration efforts have already occurred

The Terrorists’ Tactical Model

- A dress rehearsal has already taken place in 2004 in Beslan, Russia. 172 children were killed. – Large buildings with complicated floor plans are preferred. They are harder to assault. – Terrorists’ weapons included AK-47s, sniper rifles, rocket propelled grenades and explosives. – In Beslan, 1,000 people were held hostage by 100 terrorists for three days without food or water. – Women and older children were repeatedly raped. – Adult males and large boys were made to help fortify the school, then they were shot.

- Attempts at negotiation by responders were used by the terrorists to buy time to fortify the school. – All entrances and many stairwells were booby trapped with explosives. – Children were used as shields by snipers. – The terrorists used amphetamines to stay awake. – When troops stormed the building, troops and children were gunned down mercilessly – Explosions started many fires. – Trip wires connected to explosives slowed down the assault. – Escaping terrorists tried to blend in with the locals.

What’s Likely Here?

- Terrorist cells of four operatives each will strike simultaneously at four different schools. – Middle schools without police presence are preferred. The girls are big enough to rape and the students are not big enough to fight back. – Preferred targets will be states that do not allow concealed carry of firearms, have no hunting culture, and where the police do not carry rifles. – Rural areas are favored because of the delayed response time for police to arrive in force.

- As they seize the school, the attackers will initially kill every teacher and student they see. – They will rape, murder and toss the bodies outside like was done in Russia. – They will plant bombs throughout the school. – Emergency responders and fleeing children will be blown up by car bombs in the parking lot. – 100 to 300 children will be killed in the first strike. – The terrorists are likely already here, many having crossed over the border with Mexico.

California lawmakers, law enforcement heads urged support for sharia law

By Creeping Sharia:

via Expert: Officials ignorant on sharia (OneNewsNow.com).

An expert on Islam is concerned that some California politicians and city officials are ignoring the facts about sharia law.

A town hall meeting at the Islamic Society of Orange County earlier this year declared there is no conflict between sharia law, the U.S. Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Several lawmakers and officials in The Golden State — including Democratic U.S. Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Loretta Sanchez; Los Angeles Police Department Deputy Chief Michael Downing; and Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca — urged support for sharia law. In several recently released videos from the event, officials said that sharia is not a threat to the United States.

Joe Carey, founder of Radical Truth, says that the statements made by the officials showed a lack of understanding the true nature of Sharia law.

“Michael Downing made this particular statement — he said, ‘The influence of natural laws described by Cicero are the foundational building blocks of Jewish law, Christian law, and sharia law or Islamic law,’” Carey tells OneNewsNow. “That is just outlandish. Sharia law does not recognize natural law and does not recognize human rights. These statements by our officials are just reprehensible, and they ought to be held to account for them.”

Carey contends it is clear that officials have no knowledge of sharia or Islam, and he is concerned that national security officials hold a “blissful” approach towards sharia law.

While many are ignorant of sharia (Muslims included), it is more likely that Baca – and others like him – are intentionally lying. Watch the ostentatious speech:

Now watch this Jun 14, 2011 video of Tom Trento interviewing Deputy Chief Michael Downing of the Los Angeles Police Department. Downing calls the Muslim Brotherhood “Like Democrats and Republicans.”

LA Top Cops Partner With Islamists

IPT: Few local law-enforcement officials in the United States have proven themselves more Islamist-friendly than Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca, whose department has been dogged by allegations of malfeasance in office, and the Los Angeles Police Department’s top deputy handling counterterrorism issues, Michael Downing.

Downing has expressed a benign view of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Egyptian-based fundamentalist movement which seeks a global Islamic Caliphate as its ultimate objective. During a May 2011 town hall meeting, he acknowledged the group is operating in the United States, but his biggest concern was “not to demonize the Brotherhood here.”

Downing has expressed a much darker view of American critics of Islamism and shariah law, suggesting they pose a threat analogous to that of Islamic jihadists. In remarks to the “Festival of Interfaith Unity” meeting last year, Downing railed against Shariah, the Threat to America, apparently referring to this book produced by the Center for Security Policy.

“One of my greatest challenges this year is this idea of two sides of extremism: The side of fanaticism and those who want to do violence on innocent people,” Downing told attendees. “And the other side of the equation that want to instill fear in the hearts of the American people because they don’t tell the truth.”

Baca won adulation in 2010, when he testified before a congressional panel, exploding at a question about the wisdom of his close relationship with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), an organization with documented ties to a Hamas-support network.

“CAIR is not a terrorist-supporting organization,” he said. Anyone who says different is an “amateur intelligence officer.”

He has equally warm views toward the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC), a group which routinely minimizes the threat posed by Muslim extremists in the United States and criticizes FBI sting operations against would-be terrorists.

Baca and Downing won plaudits from Islamist groups like CAIR and MPAC in recent weeks, with Downing getting praise for surveillance “reforms” that may limit law enforcement’s ability to investigate suspected radical activity and Baca for making a deal with MPAC and like-minded groups on recruiting Muslim chaplains to work in county correctional facilities.

A retired federal law enforcement officer who consults with local police agencies expressed concern that the surveillance agreement between Downing and MPAC could have a “chilling effect” on monitoring radical activities. He noted that MPAC issued a statement claiming that “Any reporting of incidents by law enforcement on individuals or groups must be connected to criminal activity.”

Pointing to the case of Nidal Hasan, who massacred 13 people at Fort Hood Texas in 2009, the retired official noted that radicals often try to avoid criminal activity before attempting to carry out acts of jihad. Prior to the rampage, Hasan’s most troubling activities largely involved radical presentations to colleagues and postings on jihadist websites – activities protected by the First Amendment.

If the new rules agreed to by Downing have the effect of preventing investigations of such activities, “the results could be catastrophic,” the retired officer told the Investigative Project on Terrorism.

Patrick Dunleavy, formerly a senior official with the New York State Corrections Department, says he is troubled by unanswered questions about vetting of jail chaplains as well as Baca’s admission that he didn’t know what was going on in jails he is responsible for overseeing.

Baca’s department has been under investigation by the Justice Department and the FBI over inmate beatings and other misconduct by deputies. Adding to his troubles, the U.S. Supreme Court recently ruled that Baca can be held personally liable because he was told about the jail violence and took no action to prevent it.

Baca complained that his commanders kept him in the dark about the problems. “I wasn’t ignoring the jails. I just didn’t know,” he told the Los Angeles Times. “People can say, ‘What the hell kind of leader is that?’ The truth is I should’ve known.”

Baca’s administration of the jail “has been fraught with corruption and mismanagement of security,” Dunleavy observed. “In light of the Justice Department investigation of systemic abuses, can we really trust his administration to conduct proper vetting of religious workers or volunteers?”

The sheriff needs to explain who should be responsible for vetting organizations and individuals who want to come into Los Angeles County jails to work with Muslim inmates, Dunleavy said. He noted that Baca has vehemently defended CAIR even though the FBI cut off relations with the group, saying “until we can resolve whether there continues to be a connection between CAIR or its executives and HAMAS, the FBI does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner.”

That decision was based on evidence including the presence of CAIR founders on an internal telephone list for a Hamas support network called the Palestine Committee, and CAIR’s inclusion on a meeting agenda involving the committee’s front organizations.

If Baca doesn’t accept the FBI’s word about CAIR, then “who will he accept? Would you accept the word of MPAC?” in deciding who is suitable to work with Muslim inmates, Dunleavy asked. Given the apparent disarray in Baca’s department, unsuitable applicants could be “rubber stamped,” he said. That’s something he saw happen with Warith Deen Umar, former New York State Corrections department chaplain.

Baca’s statements, including his rabid support for CAIR, raise questions about his ability to recognize radicals. He has included Iran on a list of Islamic countries that are not interested in supporting terrorism.

“The truth is that no Islamic country that I’ve been to” in the Middle East “is interested in supporting terrorism, including Iran,” Baca said at a February 2011 MPAC Capitol Hill forum. The State Department has long expressed a very different view, calling it the world’s “most active state sponsor of terrorism.”

At the MPAC forum, Baca stressed the need to work with Islamist groups as “our way of saying that Muslim Americans, at least in Southern California, are part of the protected fabric of America. “

These organizations had joined in forming a local “Congress” of Muslims, Baca said, alluding to the Muslim American Homeland Security Congress (MAHSC). The group’s “core values” are “justice, moderation, education, peace and cooperation.”

And Islamists in Southern California have embraced Baca. He “is our champion, is our hero in defending our country and in defending us against McCarthyism in our era,” Marayati said at the same meeting.

Marayati’s MPAC colleague, Maher Hathout, gushed that when Baca defended CAIR, “he actually was defending democracy of America.”
