WHERE ARE HAMAS-CAIR’S TAX RETURNS?

download (40)By Pamela Geller:

Hamas-CAIR lost its 501 C3 status because they refused to file tax returns (that’s for the apes and pigs, I guess).

CAIR failed to file required annual reports, known as form 990s, detailing their revenues and expenses, for three consecutive years. CAIR had been a non-profit on its own, but in 2007, the IRS approved a separate tax-exempt CAIR Foundation. The foundation never filed any subsequent reports. Both the foundation and CAIR national are on the purge list.

The CAIR Foundation won exempt status in 2007 and then never filed any annual reports. That year, theWashington Times reported that CAIR’s membership plummeted by 90 percent, from a high of 29,000 people in 2000 to less than 1,700 in 2006. CAIR vehemently denied the report when it was issued. But a year later, when the organization sought to have its name removed from a list ofunindicted co-conspirators in a Hamas-financing prosecution, CAIR attorneys tied the diminishing support to the 2007 co-conspirator list.

[…]

Anecdotal information indicates the group increasingly has turned to foreign donors for operating revenue. In 2006, State Department records obtained by the Investigative Project on Terrorism show, CAIR sent delegations to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates seeking millions of dollars in support.

The delegation included CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad, spokesman Ibrahim Hooper, then-board chairman Parvez Ahmed, and current chairman Larry Shaw.

In 2009, Awad solicited Libyan Dictator Muammar Gaddafi to help underwrite a program to distribute 1 million copies of the Quran to government officials and the general public in America and to help start up a new foundation Awad was trying to launch.

But CAIR got their 501C 3 status back while patriot groups like the Tea Party were being targeted by the IRS.

Thousands of bikers roar through Washington DC to protest Muslim 9/11 rally but police prevent angry clashes between the two

By RYAN GORMAN:

  • Thousands of bikers choked highways and local roads, but did not make it to the Muslim rally
  • Christian protestors shouted down MAMF at every turn
  • None of the movements turnouts matched their names, but the Muslims were significantly outnumbered

Bikers opposing a Muslim rally took over Washington DC Wednesday morning.

Thousands of motorcyclists roared into the nation’s capital for the Two Million Bikers rally – as the nation observed moments of silence to honor the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks – intent on drowning out an event originally titled the Million Muslim March.

The Million Muslim March changed its name to the Million American March Against Fear (MAMF), but that did not change the bikers’ minds.

Starting from a Harley Davidson store just outside the city at 11am, groups of 50 motorcycles made their way into the capital, according to the Washington Times.

Denied the necessary permits to have a police escort through traffic and stopping for traffic lights, the massive assembly took just over an hour to move out. Aerial footage showed bikers choking traffic on both highways and local roads.

The bikes rolled through the city for 50 minutes for heading to the Beltway.

Riders told the Washington Times they believed the denial was for political reasons.

‘We’re here for 9-11,’ national ride coordinator Belinda Bee told the paper. ‘We are going to have a peaceful ride… but there are people who are sick and tired of their rights and liberties being taken away.’

Authorities denied the accusations, noting that permits are not needed to rally in the capital.

‘This is a God event,’ a commenter said on the motorcycle rally’s Facebook page.

‘I believe America has been in a 12-year funeral. But I’m a Christian man and not a Muslim. I believe in the resurrection! God bless America!’ The commenter added.

The Counter Jihad Report comment: I am proud to say that my husband took part in this ride. He has this to say:

Well the ride was a great success. I rode into DC from Springfield with a group of about 700 bikers. The main group rode in from Maryland and they numbered in the thousands. We had to split up once we got into DC because of traffic, stop lights, etc. But even that worked out fine as you had groups of 10 – 20 bikers buzzing in all different directions, through the District.  In my opinion, for our first ride which was organized in just two and half weeks by two kickass gals, Belinda Bee and Dana Gay, accomplished the objective of drawing attention and getting people to focus on 9/11 again.

Greg Gutfeld on Fox’s “The Five” was irritated that the bikers bugged him on twitter to cover their ride. He said that they seemed to be more interested in publicity than remembering the victims of 9/11:

Yes, Greg Gutfeld, they did ride to honor the victims of 9/11. The reason they bugged you to cover it was to remind everyone else of who the real victims are. And we do not want the fact that Muslims committed this act of terror to be whitewashed by turning the memorial events into “a day of service” or penance for “Islamophobia”. The bikers were not seeking out the Muslim rally. They were just making their presence known and showing their patriotism.

GAFFNEY: How Muslim proselytizing creeps into public schools

b1-gaffney-apple-iislam-gg_s160x215By Frank J. Gaffney Jr.:

The Loudoun County School  Board is reaching the denouement of a multiyear deliberation about an  application for a charter school that has strong ties to Fethullah Gulen,  a Turkish Islamist. His followers have already started some 135 American charter  schools. Their focus is to promote an increasingly Shariah-dominated Turkey.

Incredibly, the school board’s  members are studiously avoiding any acknowledgment or discussion of the role of  Fethullah Gulen and his movement in the charter  school. They have wrestled for many months with a host of problems with the  application — such as serious deficiencies with the proposed curriculum, the  financing, the management, the teachers and Maryland’s  Chesapeake Science Point Public Charter School, the school  in Anne Arundel County specifically cited as the “model” for the Loudoun  Math and Information Technology Academy.

Yet the members of the school board  have, to date, been unwilling to recognize that these problems are actually  endemic in Gulen-associated schools — including Chesapeake Science Point. These problems are also  much in evidence in three Gulen charter schools in  Fulton County, Ga. Two of the three have lost their charters; the third — an  elementary school — may soon follow suit.

I had the occasion to visit Fulton County last week and talked with several  people involved in one aspect or another of its difficulties with the Gulenists.  These included a former teacher, the parent of a former student and a local  administrator. One thing is clear from these conversations: You simply cannot  begin to understand, let alone cope with, the sorts of issues inherent in “Gulen-inspired” schools if you indulge — for whatever  reason, be it “political correctness,” sensitivity to “diversity,” fear of  litigation or being branded an “Islamophobe,” racist, etc. — in the pretense  that applications like the one in Loudoun County can be properly evaluated while  excluding from the evaluation process the 800-pound gorilla in the room: the  applicants’ manifest associations to the Gulen  movement.

Steve Emerson: The Danger of John Brennan at the CIA

imagesCAITBREOCenter for Security Policy Executive Vice President Fred Grandy filled in on the Washington Times radio show, and interviewed Steven Emerson of the Investigative Project on Terrorism regarding the nomination of John Brennan for CIA director.

Did CIA pick sanitize Obama’s passport records?

spyby Jerome R. Corsi

NEW YORK – John Brennan, the Obama counter-terrorism adviser nominated this week to head the CIA, played a controversial role in what many suspect was an effort to sanitize Obama’s passport records.

On March 21, 2008, amid Obama’s first presidential campaign, two unnamed contract employees for the State Department were fired and a third was disciplined for breaching the passport file of Democratic presidential candidate and then-Sen. Barack Obama.

Breaking the story, the Washington Times on March 20, 2008, noted that all three had used their authorized computer network access to look up and read Obama’s records within the State Department consular affairs section that “possesses and stores passport information.”

Contacted by the newspaper, State Department spokesman Sean McCormack attributed the violations to non-political motivations, stressing that the three individuals involved “did not appear to be seeking information on behalf of any political candidate or party.”

“As far as we can tell, in each of the three cases, it was imprudent curiosity,” McCormack told the Washington Times.

The spokesman did not disclose exactly how the State Department came to that conclusion.

By the next day, the story had changed.

The New York Times reported March 21, 2008, that the security breach had involved unauthorized searches of the passport records not just of Sen. Obama but also of then-presidential contenders Sens. John McCain and Hillary Clinton.

Again, the New York Times attributed the breaches to “garden-variety snooping by idle employees” that was “not politically motivated.”

Like the Washington Times, the New York Times gave no explanation to back up its assertion that the breaches were attributable to non-political malfeasance.

Still, the New York Times report indicated then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice had spent Friday morning calling all three presidential candidates and that she had told Obama that she was sorry for the violation.

“I told him that I myself would be very disturbed if I learned that somebody had looked into my passport file,” Rice said.

The newspaper quoted Obama as saying he appreciated the apology but that he expected the passport situation “to be investigated diligently and openly.”

According to the New York Times report, Obama’s tone of concern was obvious.

“One of the things that the American people count on in their interactions with any level of government is that if they have to disclose personal information, that is going to stay personal and stay private,” Obama told reporters. “And when you have not just one, but a series of attempts to tap into people’s personal records, that’s a problem, not just for me, but for how our government is functioning.”

The New York Times noted that the files examined likely contained sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers, addresses and dates of birth, as well as passport applications and other biographical information that would pertain to U.S. citizenship. Only at the end of the article did the New York Times note that State Department spokesman McCormack had emphasized the most egregious violation appeared to have been made against Obama.

Obama was the only one of the three presidential candidates involved who had his passport file breached on three separate occasions. The first occurred Jan. 9, 2008, followed by separate violations Feb. 21 and March 14, 2008. Moreover, all three of the offending employees had breached Obama’s files, while each of the passport files of McCain and Clinton had been breached only once.

The Brennan connection

The New York Times noted the two offending State Department contract employees who were fired had worked for Stanley Inc., a company based in Arlington, Va., while the reprimanded worker continued to be employed by the Analysis Corporation of McLean, Va.

The newspaper gave no background on either corporation, other than to note that Stanley Inc. did “computer work for the government.”

At that time, Stanley Inc. was a 3,500-person technology firm that had just won a $570-million contract to provide computer-related passport services to the State Department.

Analysis Corporation was headed by Brennan, a former CIA agent who was then serving as an adviser on intelligence and foreign policy to Sen. Obama’s presidential campaign.

Arizona Bomber Had Citizenship Rejected by Homeland Security for ‘Terrorism-Related Activity’

Abdullatif Aldosary

Abdullatif Aldosary

PJ Media:By Patrick Poole

Back on Sunday I broke the news here at PJ Media of the arrest of Abdullatif Aldosary in connection with the bombing of a Social Security Administration office in Casa Grande, Arizona, last Friday morning. I noted that while the bombing and Aldosary’s arrest had received local news coverage, there was a virtual blackout by the national media on the Iraqi refugee’s identity.

Yesterday I reported on details provided to the federal court on Monday during Aldosary’s initial court hearing, which included information on what was found when the FBI conducted a search of his Coolidge, Arizona, home last Friday night. Among the items recovered was a bomb-making manual that had been hidden behind a photograph on the wall. Also discovered were an AK-47 and a 9mm Ruger handgun, along with more than a thousand rounds of ammunition. Kerry Picket at the Washington Times also reported that they recovered several gallons of chemicals typically used in bomb making.

When authorities checked Aldosary’s bank statements, they found he had more than $20,000 despite the fact that he was a convicted felon, only worked as a day laborer, and had no visible means of supporting himself sufficient to warrant having that kind of balance.

But a bombshell report came out today based on information obtained by Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), who had received a request from Aldosary in November 2011 for assistance in obtaining a “green card.”

According to today’s news report, the Department of Homeland Security responded to Gosar’s request on behalf of Aldosary last year by saying that he was ineligible for a change in status because of “terrorism-related grounds of inadmissibility”:

Gosar said DHS responded by saying Aldosary was not eligible for a permanent change to citizenship “pursuant to the terrorism-related grounds of inadmissibility, and that “individuals who engage in terrorism-related activity … are barred from receiving various immigration benefits.”

DHS did not elaborate on what the activity was. Gosar wrote that to be barred from permanent status, under federal law the immigrant must have engaged in activity “indicating an intention to cause death or serious bodily injury, a terrorist activity; to prepare or plan a terrorist activity; to gather information on potential targets for terrorist activity” or belong to “a terrorist organization” among other actions.

In light of the Casa Grande bombing, Gosar questioned why Aldosary was not detained and processed for deportation in November 2011, after it was determined he had engaged in terrorism-related activity.

The bombing happened about a block away from Gosar’s office.

“But for the grace of God, no one was injured in the bombing,” Gosar wrote.

Gosar also asked what efforts were made to track and monitor “a known terrorist.”

Gosar sent a letter to Homeland Security yesterday raising concerns about Aldosary being ruled ineligible for citizenship, but then not being detained and processed for deportation. Among the questions Gosar has asked DHS are:

1) Why wasn’t a known terrorist detained and deportation proceedings initiated once DHS concluded he was engaging in terrorism-related activity?

2) What efforts were made to track and monitor a known terrorist in Arizona?

3) Did DHS inform local law enforcement about this potential threat?

4) Was DHS aware of Mr. Aldosary’s prior criminal record?

5) What is the time frame to arrest and deport a resident alien once the DHS determines he or she has engaged in terrorism related activity?

All fair questions to ask. We’ll keep you informed about this case as developments warrant.

Muslim Brotherhood inherits U.S. war gear

imagesCAP32439By Rowan Scarborough

For Egypt’s Muslim  Brotherhood-dominated government, more battle tanks and jet fighters are on  their way from the United States.

Cairo’s military link to Washington has remained intact, meaning the U.S.  will continue to modernize the biggest military in Africa – even as President Mohammed Morsi has decreed near-absolute power  for himself and his supporters and opponents battle outside his palace.

Analysts say Egypt’s military buildup presents  risks for Washington – and Israel – with the  growing influence of the Brotherhood, whose overriding goal  is to establish Shariah, or Islamic, law worldwide.

A Pentagon statement to The Washington Times  on Thursday said: “We are always reviewing our foreign assistance  to make sure  foreign assistance advances U.S. objectives and is being used for the right  purposes.”

For now, Egypt is due 200 M1A1 Abrams battle  tanks, the same mechanized firepower manned by American soldiers, bringing Egypt’s inventory to a robust 1,200.

Also in the pipeline is a squadron of the Air Force F-16 Falcon, a  multipurpose warplane able to dogfight and drop ordnance.

The government awarded Lockheed  Martin Corp. a contract in March 2010 for 20 F-16s, the last to be delivered  next year. That would increase Egypt’s total fleet  to 240, according to a company press release at the time.

Egypt has far and away the largest army in  Africa,” said Egypt analyst Robert  Springborg, a professor at the Naval Postgraduate School in  Monterey, Calif.

The billions of dollars in U.S. military aid – in annual $1.3 billion  stipends – have made the Egyptian air  force the fourth-largest F-16 operator among 25 countries. Egypt’s  4,000 tanks, including the 1,000 or so M1A1s, make it the world’s  seventh-largest tank army.

“This is a pretty substantial capacity that they have developed,” Mr.  Springborg said.

‘A top regional priority’

In Cairo, the Egyptian army sealed off  the president’s palace with M-60 tanks and barbed wire Thursday, a day after Morsi supporters and detractors clashed  outside the residence. At least six people were killed Wednesday.

What’s more, another member of Mr. Morsi’s  17-member advisory board resigned to protest his handling of the growing crisis  over his power grab and a controversial draft constitution approved by his  Islamist allies. So far, seven people have resigned from his advisory panel.

A referendum on the constitution is scheduled for Dec. 15, and the Muslim  Brotherhood is strongly advocating its ratification.

Meanwhile, Frank Gaffney, a senior  defense policymaker in the Reagan  administration, has been warning about the rise of the Brotherhood  as it relates to the U.S.

“My principal concern with the Obama  administration’s approach to Egypt is they seem  oblivious to the fact it is now in the hands of a regime that is deeply hostile  to the United States and certainly poses an immediate threat, I believe, to our  friends in Israel,” said Mr.  Gaffney, who runs the Center  for Security Policy. “Under those circumstances, it is alarming that they  are continuing to arm Egypt in a way that can only  exacerbate the threat.”

Mr. Morsi, a  Brotherhood leader before his election, relies on the global fraternity as a  power base.

“There are two things that are troubling,” Mr.  Gaffney said. “One is the sheer quantity of the weapons that these enemies  of the United States have inherited, let alone those they will be getting if we  continue to make arms sales with them. The second is the quality of these  weapons.”

A Pentagon spokesman told The Times that he  could provide no information about future arms shipments to the Morsi  administration. He provided a Pentagon  statement that said, in part:

Egypt is a pivotal country in the Middle East  and a longtime partner of the United States. Its well-being is important for the  region as a whole.  We have continued to rely on Egypt for more than 30 years to support and advance  U.S. interests in the region, including peace with Israel, confronting Iranian ambitions, and supporting  Iraq. Preserving peace in the Middle East is a top regional priority as we look  to support Egypt through its transition.”

RI.org Exclusive: Did Turkey Play a Role in Benghazi Attack?

Diplomats gather at a memorial service for slain Ambassador Chris Stevens (Photo: Reuters)

by: Clare Lopez:

If reporting from the Washington Times is accurate, it looks like the Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin was in on the plot to attack the U.S. mission in Benghazi. According to an October 27, 2012 report, Libyan witnesses from the Benghazi neighborhood where the U.S. compound was located told reporters from the Associated Press (AP) that “150 bearded gunmen, some wearing the Afghan-style tunics favored by Islamic militants began sealing off the streets” leading to the facility “around nightfall.”

The Department of State “Background Briefing on Libya,” provided by telephone to reporters on October 9, 2012 states that Ambassador Christopher Stevens held his last meeting of the day on September 11 with the Turkish diplomat from 7:30pm to 8:30pm and then escorted him out to the compound gate to bid farewell. At that point, the briefing states, “Everything is calm at 8:30 p.m. There’s nothing unusual.”

But the AP witnesses said that, “The neighbors all described the militants setting up checkpoints around the compound at about 8 p.m.” The checkpoints were described as being manned by bearded jihadis in pickup trucks mounted with heavy machine guns and bearing the logo of the Al-Qaeda terror franchise, Ansar al-Shariah.

That means that the Turkish Consul General would have had to pass out through the blockade as he departed the American compound and left the area. There is no record that he phoned a warning to his American colleague, the one he’d just had dinner with, Ambassador Stevens. Given the description of the blockade around the American compound and of the jihadis and their trucks that were manning it, it seems unlikely that the he somehow just failed to notice. “[N]o one could get out or in,” according to one neighbor interviewed by the AP.

Except for the Turkish Consul General, it would appear.

Stevens was a sitting duck, a target surrounded by the jihadist attackers who shortly would take his life and that of his Public Affairs Officer, Sean Smith.

The U.S. Consultate burns in Beghazi during the attack (Photo: Reuters)

Similarly, this raises the question of the gate guards from the “February 17 Martyrs Brigade,” the jihadi militia subcontracted by the British firm Blue Mountain, which was the prime contractor for the U.S. Benghazi compound security contract.

What did they know and when did they know it?  Even if the Americans, inside the buildings behind the compound walls and getting ready to retire for the night, were not aware of what was happening in the streets around them, the Libyans of the Martyrs Brigade surely must have been. Yet they provided no warning to the Ambassador and his people either, because again, according to the State Department briefing, the American security officers inside were taken by surprise when the first gunshots and explosions rang out around 9:40 pm.

The State Department must have known much of this when it provided the briefing. So must have the Central Intelligence Agency, the Department of Defense, the National Security Council and the White House. More than likely, the State Department knew in advance of the Ambassador’s meeting schedule for that day, including his plans for a final dinner meeting with Akin.

To date, however, none of them has mentioned the curious circumstance that Ali Sait Akin knew the American Ambassador and his staff at the Benghazi compound were being set up for slaughter and did nothing to warn them.

The topic of discussion between the Ambassador and his dinner guest has not been revealed, but it would seem to be of even more significance now that it has become obvious the Turkish diplomat and by extension, his government, were at least to some degree complicit in the attack against Ambassador Stevens and the others.

The Journal Huma Abedin and her Family Edited Adopted the Goals and Ideas of the Muslim Brotherhood

by ANDREW G. BOSTOM

Reflecting an apparent systemic failure, steadily burgeoning evidence (herehereherehere) indicates that one of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s closest aides, Huma Abedin, despite Ms. Clinton’s protestation, was inadequately vetted for either family, or personal ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Diligentopen source investigation has already uncovered and documented numerous alarming connections. One can reasonably infer that a serious, formal Congressional investigation of the overall extent of Muslim Brotherhood influence operations-as requested by Representatives Bachmann, Gohmert, Franks, Westmoreland, and Rooney-might yield even more disturbing findings.

Pending these sorely needed Congressional inquiries-replete with their probing investigative tools (i.e., subpoena power, and access to classified materials)-much can still be gleaned from the public record. For example, over the past 33 years, Huma Abedin’s family has been responsible for the editorial production of the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA)’s academic journal (known as Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs. Journal, from 1979-1995, and Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs [JMMA], from 1996 till now), starting with family patriarch Syed Z. Abedin’s, and Huma’s mother, Saleha Abedin‘s, founding involvement since 1979, and subsequently joined by Huma’s brother Hassan Abedin (1996 to present, Huma herself (1996 to 2008), and Huma’s sister, Heba (married nameKhalid, or Khaled2002 to present).

The following analysis of this IMMA journal’s foundational origins, guiding editorial board membership, and Weltanschauung-most appositely, at present-confirms that the Abedin family “academic” journal is a thinly veiled mouthpiece for the Muslim Brotherhood’s Sharia-supremacist agenda.
