Europe’s Multicultural Model Is Changing

Europeans do not have a record of religious tolerance, as can be clearly seen in  their history of religious wars (16th – 18th centuries) and their appalling  Anti-Semitism for 2,000 years, culminating in the Holocaust.

But in the  newly emerging Europe after World War II, Western European countries (Britain,  France, Netherlands, Scandinavia, and Germany) were determined to create a new  European multiculturalism. First, national barriers were coming down as European  elites created the European Union (EU), sharing not only a monetary system but  also a raft of common values.

As Europe recovered from the devastation  of World War II and a new issue, population decline, the floodgates were opened  to immigrants and refugees from the less fortunate world, the Middle East,  Africa, Indonesia, and India/Pakistan. The newcomers were welcomed by their new  governments with monetary assistance, housing, and welfare. What should have  been temporary assistance turned into permanent ghettoes, and because the  immigrants were not offered a real opportunity to integrate, they became a new  constituency for today’s neo-fascist movement, Islamism.

France. Recognizing their well-intentioned generosity has had  unforeseen consequences, the French are beginning to reverse their laws. France,  which has a huge Muslim population, has learned that locking up Muslim criminals  has created a perfect environment for turning French prisons into schools for  converting French delinquents to Islam. In September, French police rounded up a  number of young terrorists, almost all of them new converts, with plans to sow  mayhem and murder in French Jewish neighborhoods. There are also neighborhoods  in France so dangerously under the control of Islamists that the French police  dare not go there.

England. The UK has been inundated  with Muslims from the former British colonies of today’s India, Pakistan, and  Bangladesh. The first generation of these new immigrants wanted nothing more  than to become British (and many did, such as Salman Rushdie, author of Satanic Verses). But now the third and fourth generations find  themselves in Muslim ghettoes, undereducated, too long on welfare, and easily  seduced by Islamist clerics and operatives into going to Pakistan or Yemen to  “learn Arabic” and ready themselves to become suicide bombers. London has  already survived one huge suicide bombing attack on their metro system and has  scurried to prevent an encore. Now, finally, despite EU law, they have deported  some of their worst Islamists to the United   States, where they have been  wanted for terrorism and murder.

  1. This is a World wide Islamic Cultural War or a Jihad, which is 1400 years old.

Government leaders are Deaf, Dumb and Blind
We are in an Islamic Cultural War. That has no Borders

Islamic Culture must destroy Western Culture OR

Western Culture must destroy Islamic Culture.

    Stealth Jihad will destroy America!

    It is a Genocidal War.

Islamic Culture = Evil: Western Culture = Civilization

    Choose Freedom or Slavery
This is a battle between Light and Darkness or Good and Evil or Knowledge and Slavery

America decide which side you are on?

  2. Whilst I agree that you have an immigration problem in this country, I don’t think that this is your main problem. Your main problem is the disintegration of the family unit and the loveless binge drinking environment that your children are growing up in! NEVER in my life have I seen another country where people so seldom give their children a hug and a kiss like in this country and NEVER in my life have I seen another country where there are so many children from different fathers growing up in single parent households! Before you tackle the immigration problem (at least the immigrants LOVE their kids) you should first look at yourselves!

Muslim Community has been a victim of Paki-bashing in the past and now it is a victim of Islamophobia. The Tsunami of Islamophobia is a blessing in disguise. The greatest Urdu/Persian poet of Pakistan, after studying in Cambridge and Germany said that the Tsunami of the west made him a Muslim. I know a couple of Muslim ladies who never covered themselves in Pakistan but their daughters born and educated in the west, not only wear hijab but Niqab also. This is the fruit of Islamophobia suffered by these girls in state schools with non-Muslim monolingual teachers. It is a fact that British schooling is the home of institutional racism and British teachers are chicken racist.

Ed is very proud of his comprehensive school because students were speaking 60 languages. After leaving school, all those who spoke different languages, could only speak English because there is no arrangement for them to learn their own languages at school. Even teachers discouraged them to speak their language in school. British schooling regards bilingualism as a problem and not an asset. Sadiq was the product of British schooling. He is very proud that he is unable to speak, read and write Urdu language. I do not blame him. It is the fault of the school.

Multiculturalism is not about integration but about cultural plurality. It is not about separation but about respect and the deepening awareness of Unity in Diversity. Each culture will maintain its own intrinsic value and at the same time would be expected to contribute to the benefit of the whole society. Multiculturalism can accommodate diversity of all kinds – cultural, philosophical and religious – so that we can create a world without conflict and strife. Britain can assume the role of accommodation and concern for all peoples, for our planet and indeed for our survival. Multi-culturalism is even more important and crucial after 9/11 and 7/7. Muslim youths are also likely to feel alienated by a focus on shared Brutishness, rather than multicultural diversity. Rather than promoting a single British “us” teaching should acknowledge that “us” can be diverse and plural. Children should be encouraged to explore differences in appearance, history and religion to reduce social and educational fears.

It is the democratic right of every Muslim parent to see that their children receive balanced education, so that when their children grow up, they do not find themselves cut off from their cultural roots and linguistic skills. It is a question of common sense, humanity and reason that bilingual Muslim children must be educated in state funded Muslim schools with bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods. The whole world believes that people who speak more than one language is a vital economic asset. Pupils who speak more than one language do not cause difficulties. There are hundreds of state and church schools where Muslim children are in majority. In my opinion, all such schools may be opted out as Muslim Academies.

Muslim schools are not only faith schools; they are more or less bilingual schools. Bilingual Muslim children need to learn and be well versed in Standard English to follow the National Curriculum and go for higher studies and research to serve humanity. All Muslim children will learn and be well versed in Standard English and Quranic Arabic and at the same time they will learn and be well versed in one of the community language to keep in touch with their cultural roots and enjoy the beauty of their literature and poetry. Majority of children will learn Urdu language because it is a lingua franca of the migrants from the sub-continent. And majority of British Muslims are from Pakistan and their national language is Urdu.

    • Iftikhar, while I usually trash your blatant taqiyya I allowed this comment because it illustrates so well all the false arguments usually employed by Islamists. First the usual smear of the West, then the Muslim victim card (veiling is due to Islamophobia?) followed by a misrepresentation of multiculturalism (yes it is about integration) and an illogical case for a “democratic right” for a host country to teach it’s immigrants their own culture exclusively using all the lefts favorite buzzwords.

The appeasement of Islam must end. All nations should value their own culture over others even as they appreciate and are tolerant of others. There must be a set of core values and common identity in order for a society to have the cohesion and trust to cooperate in social and political groups.

Thank goodness Europe is waking up. But I fear it is too late.

When you immigrate you must integrate.

Anyone from this planet who thinks immigrants of different colours, creeds, religions can mix and integrate really is deluded and deranged. Interestingly God sent different colour, creed, religion people to separate regions of the world to survive and flourish in peace, this is written in the Holy bible and the Holy Quran. We were taught it in school Religious lessons, as they were then known. Strange how no religious leaders ever mention this but it also shows just how wise God is and what fools have now become our leaders. ”Multiculturalism just erodes a country’s identity and kills the native population’s morale” I would love to see you make that comment to an Aboriginal Australian and hear what their reply to you would be! Now multi-culturalism doesn’t work??? Once upon a time our forefathers went into the third world and taught them to accept multi-culturalism coz it suited them at the time. Now it doesn’t work coz it is at our door step and its our turn to accept it. The fact is that some of us here are pure racists. Multiculturalism is the tool used by multinationals (globalists) to divide and conquer

What does integrating mean? Muslims are not embracing western life’. What do we do? In our free time us English go down the pubs and get smashed, do the same in clubs, sleep with random people and as a result have the highest teenage pregnancy rate in Europe. Can anybody please tell me what integration means? other then speak English!!! The Jews did their best to integrate in Germany. They even took German names! Look how far it got them. If the Muslims try to integrate, the Germans/British will complain about the ‘pollution’ of their identity once again. I wonder how many English people were saying “Multi-Culturalism does not work” when they were busy invading and taking over other people’s countries!? India, the Africa, the Americas, Australia, to name but a few. I wonder how many English people are saying “Multi Culturalism does not work” when they are busy sunning themselves in the south of Spain, speaking only English, eating in English restaurants, drinking in English bars, and complaining that not all Spaniards speak English!? Monkey see? Monkey do? And what is English culture, anyhow!? Our football teams are full of foreign players and some are owned by foreign owners, Christian Church attendance has dwindled, we love our curries (influenced by Indian food), we holiday abroad often…so I really would like somebody to define to me what is English culture, these days. If you mean by integration going down to the pub with the lads, getting drunk, picking up a few girls, and then on Sunday maybe going to church – then I’m sure that Muslims will not integrate.

    • Your incessant rants on everyone’s blog is really getting tiresome. If you assume the entire English culture is only based on drunkenness – then we can easily assume that the entire Muslim “culture” is solely based on terrorism, rape and assault.

  4. What a bunch of distorted nonsense by Dr. Laina Farhat-Holzma. First of all, anti-semitism in Europe was imported via Arabic propaganda from the time of Mohammed and not the other way around. A research into history and the timing of anti-semitism will show how the time correlates to Muslim persecution of jews. It is well mentioned in the Koran that “jews and christians are friends” and therefore, Muslims should consider both as their enemies. From a historical perspective it tells us there probably was no actual anti-semitism until the intense persecution created by Islam.
Second, the early Muslims migrants “The first generation of these new immigrants wanted nothing more than to become British” – were not Muslims but belonged to persecuted religious groups, which is why they were allowed to immigrate. They were not followers of Islam and therefore integrated.
