DC Metro Cops Struck By Hit-and-Run Driver in Adams-Morgan, Terrorism Not Ruled Out

PJ Media, by Patrick Poole, June 9, 2017:

Two Washington D.C. Metro police officers and a city worker were struck by a hit-and-run driver last night in the Adams-Morgan neighborhood. One officer was originally listed as critical, but has just been upgraded to serious.

Two suspects are in custody, and a weapon was found in the vehicle. FBI were on the scene, and authorities have said that terrorism has not been ruled out.

This was the short DC Metro Police press conference late last night at the scene:

According to witnesses, the white pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed when the two DC Metro police officers pulled out from behind a bus on their bikes and were struck.

The truck continued on, eventually hitting a trash truck.

Two suspects were removed from the vehicle and placed under arrest.

  1. There is no way on God’s green earth that terrorist attacks can be stopped without having an open, public, “difficult conversation” with Muslims about the root cause of terrorism: (shar’ia supremacy and Koranic verses that foment hatred for others). These two things are “the elephant in the room,” that every leader in the free world refuses to acknowledge, mush less address. If I, as a regular every-day citizen can see this, why can’t the people who are being paid to deal with it?

The idea we have to accept terrorism as the ‘new normal’ is an insult to American citizens. We didn’t have this kind of problem before the Muslims came here, so if sending them to Saudi Arabia (they haven’t taken in any refugees yet…go figure) will put an end to the terror then I say go for it.

Tolerance goes on so far. If anyone has abused that concept, it’s the Muslims. They don’t ‘tolerate’ other religions at all, yet scream like a pig if you say anything negative about Islam…even though it true!

President Trump has the right idea about extreme vetting, but I’ve already reached the point that I don’t even want Muslims in this country, not just because of their beliefs, but because they anticipate that America will eventually acquiesce to their desire to have shar’ia law coexist with the American Constitution. These laws diametrically oppose each other, and house divided like this will certainly fall.
