Snowden’s Reporter the Keynote Speaker at CAIR Banquet

By Walid Shoebat:

Perhaps there is no scandal with stranger bedfellows and is more controversial than the NSA scandal, facilitated by Edward Snowden through the U.K. Guardian’s Glenn Greenwald. Liberals have sided with conservatives and vice versa on both sides of the issue. Debates rage about whether Snowden is a traitor or a patriot. Congress is to blame for much of the Snowden-is-a-patriot talk; it has been derelict in its duty to hold the Obama administration accountable on much of anything.

Greenwald: Keynote speaker at CAIR Banquet.

Greenwald: Keynote speaker at CAIR Banquet.

Those who view Snowden as a patriot and are willing to extend those views to the man responsible for providing the delivery system for NSA secrets revealed (Greenwald) should have a difficult time reconciling Greenwald’s scheduled appearance at a Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) event.

Via Daily Caller:

The Los Angeles chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations says that Greenwald will be the keynote speaker at its November 16 “Faith in Freedom” dinner in Anaheim, California.

The banquet is the first scheduled appearance in the United States for Greenwald, who lives in Brazil, since he used information provided by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden to disclose NSA electronic surveillance programs in a series of articles for the U.K.-based Guardian newspaper.

Whether CAIR has been identified as a domestic enemy of the U.S. matters little. As a Muslim Brotherhood front group, CAIR’s goals are clear to anyone who wishes to be honest about the group. Those who side with Snowden based on a belief that Russia is no longer an enemy of the U.S. should also have difficulty here. As an arm of the Brotherhood, CAIR seeks to ultimately help facilitate the destruction of the United States. Any ambiguity relative to Russia’s acceptance of Snowden should not be applied to CAIR or the Brotherhood.

USA Survival’s Cliff Kincaid points out that Fox News Channel’s Eric Bolling, who has historically been a figure that seems to understand the Islamic threat to the U.S., appears to be on the side of Snowden in the NSA scandal and has been more than a little gracious whenever he interviews Greenwald. Here is a video posted by Kincaid on the subject:

As the Daily Caller points out, Greenwald is the keynote speaker at the CAIR event and that none other than Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the first World Trade Center attack in 1993 and follower of the Blind Sheikh, will also be one of the group’s three speakers.

Megyn Kelly Show: Brutal Attack on U.S. Citizen by Muslim Gang in London

Clarion Project:

A student from Florida was brutally beaten by a Muslim gang in London. The gang was part of a self-appointed street patrol enforcing sharia (Islamic) law in London. The “crime” of the student, an American citizen who was in England to advance his studies, was drinking a beer.

The patrols, who began appearing on London’s streets in 2011, are followers of radical Islamic preacher Anjem Choudary, whose goal is to enforce sharia law even in non-Muslim countries.

The Clarion Project’s National Security Analyst Ryan Mauro discussed this case and the larger phenomenon of the Muslim patrols with Fox news’s Megan Kelly on “The Kelly File.”  On the show, Mauro also discussed the radical Islamic group Jamaat ul-Fuqra which has large communes all around the U.S. where member are trained in guerrilla warfare. A video of women receiving such training at the group’s “Islamberg” headquarters in New York is shown below.

Theft of US weapons in Libya involved hundreds of guns, sources say

download (16)By Adam Housley:

EXCLUSIVE: The recent theft of massive amounts of highly sensitive U.S. military equipment from Libya is far worse than previously thought, Fox News has learned, with raiders swiping hundreds of weapons that are now in the hands of militia groups aligned with terror organizations and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The equipment, as Fox News previously reported, was used for training in Libya by U.S. Special Forces. The training team, which was funded by the Pentagon, has since been pulled, partly in response to the overnight raids last August.

According to State Department and military sources, dozens of highly armored vehicles called GMV’s, provided by the United States, are now missing. The vehicles feature GPS navigation as well as various sets of weapon mounts and can be outfitted with smoke-grenade launchers. U.S. Special Forces undergo significant training to operate these vehicles. Fox News is told the vehicles provided to the Libyans are now gone.

091113_hn_housley2_640Along with the GMV’s, hundreds of weapons are now missing, including roughly 100 Glock pistols and more than 100 M4 rifles. More disturbing, according to the sources, is that it seems almost every set of night-vision goggles has also been taken. This is advanced technology that gives very few war fighters an advantage on the battlefield.

“It’s not just equipment … it’s the capability. You are giving these very dangerous groups the capability that only a few nations are capable of,” one source said. “Already assassinations are picking up in Tripoli and there are major worries that the militias are using this stolen equipment to their advantage. All these militias are tied into terrorist organizations and are tied to (salafists).”

The “salafists” are a jihadist movement among Salafi Muslims. This growing movement in Libya directly endangers the U.S.-supported government, and sources worry that this sensitive equipment is now going to be used by these groups in an attempt to overthrow the government and install a more hardline Muslim leadership.

Some diplomats, who asked to remain anonymous, say they are seeing the kinds of conditions that opened the door to the Sept. 11 Benghazi attack now appearing in Tripoli and across the rest of Libya.  They worry that American convoys and western convoys will be attacked using these stolen weapons and vehicles.

Students Take Field Trip to Mosque, Receive Koran

By Todd Starnes:

A Tennessee high school has decided to revise its field trip policy after a group of freshmen were taken to an Islamic mosque where they were given copies of the Koran and while a student who opted out of the trip was given a worksheet that alleged Muslims treated their conquered people better than the United States treated minorities.

The students were in an honors world studies class at Hendersonville High School and the field trips to the mosque as well as a Hindu temple were part of a three-week course on world religions.

But some parents objected to the trips and wondered why the school would tour a mosque but not a Christian church or a Jewish synagogue.

“If you can’t go to all five, why are you going to any?” asked parent Mike Conner. “We sent the principal an email and voiced our concerns. She sent back a reply and told us they could not afford to go to all five.”

Daily Roll Call reported the students were taken to the Islamic Center of Nashville.

Children were given punch and cookies at the mosque where they listened to readings from the Koran, Conner said. They were also given copies of the Islamic holy book – which some students took and others declined.

During their visit to the Hindu temple, students engaged in meditation.

“Our kids are being indoctrinated and this is being shoved in their face,” Conner told Fox News. “It tells me they are pushing other religions and they want Christianity to take a back seat. They want our children to be tolerant of everything except Christianity.”

Sumner County Schools spokesman declined to answer questions about specific religious activities the children may have engaged in, but he did send a statement acknowledging there was concern about the trip.

“Our district has reviewed the practice and decided to eliminate field trips to religious venues from this class, as it does not provide equal representation to all the religions studied in the course unit,” the statement read. “This decision was made due to the fact that equal representation in regards to field trips for all religions studied in the course is not feasible.”

Conner told Fox News his 14-year-old stepdaughter Jessica decided not to attend the trip. So her teachers instructed her to write a paper comparing and contrasting the Christian, Hindu and Islamic faiths. That’s when his daughter noticed something strange.

“There was one page on the sayings of Jesus, two-thirds of a page on the sayings of Gandhi, and five pages on Muhammed,” Conner said.

The section about Islam was titled, “Religious Tolerance in Islam,” according to the worksheets provided to Fox News.

The author wrote that the “Prophet of Islam was prepared to live in peace with the followers of other monotheistic religions, especially Judaism and Christianity.”

The author also disputed claims that Islam is a violent religion or that conquered nations were given a choice – Islam or death.

“There is no denying that Muslims in the Middle East and Asian conquered lands of other peoples but they did not impose their religion over them,” the author wrote.

The author also stated that minorities conquered by the Muslims were treated better than minorities living in the United States.

“If we were to compare the attitude of the Muslim rulers towards the minorities living under their rule during the nineteenth century – with the attitude of the Europeans and the Americans towards their minorities, I dare to say that the record of the Muslims would be better,” the author wrote.

Conner told Fox News his daughter declined to complete what she considered to be an unfair and unbalanced assignment.

Plans to try Benghazi attackers in US courts blocks case, congressman says

download (38)By Catherine Herridge:

Plans by the administration to use U.S. criminal courts to prosecute those responsible for last year’s terror attack in Benghazi have thrown up yet another roadblock to investigating the case, the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee told Fox News Friday.

“This whole plan has been, all along, to bring them to a criminal court in the United States. I’m not sure that’s in our national security best interest,” Congressman Mike Rogers of Michigan said in an exclusive interview. “I don’t know how anyone could come to the conclusion that it hasn’t slowed it down.”

“Certainly I’m frustrated, I think the committee’s frustrated, and by the way, I think the people who do this for a living are really frustrated,” Rogers said.

Based on intelligence reporting, the delay has allowed the Benghazi suspects to remain free and engaged within their terrorist organizations.

As for possibly targeting them with drone strikes, counter terrorism analysts say the administration’s prosecution strategy has effectively pushed that option aside.

“U.S. intelligence officials, and our war fighters in the Defense Department, are hamstrung by a law enforcement model,” said Thomas Joscelyn of the Center for Defense of Demcracies.

“There are a lot of guys who are known terrorists, who are known suspects in the Benghazi attack, who could be taken off the battlefield today.”

The military detention center at Guantanamo Bay is also off the table for holding and questioning the Benghazi suspects

“Our position on GTMO is certainly clear, that we are not sending anyone to GTMO, that in fact, we are working to reduce the population at GTMO, ultimately with the goal of closing it.” Marie Harf. State Department spokeswoman, said Friday.

Another problem is that while a criminal case requires physical evidence, by the time the FBI reached the consulate where four Americans died on Sep. 11, 2012, the crime scene was contaminated.

Senior U.S. Intel. Operative: What It Will Take to Liberate Iran

Wayne SimmonsBY RYAN MAURO:

Wayne Simmons served in the U.S. Navy and CIA for 27 years, including eight years as part of a CIA Outside Paramilitary Special Operations Group where he ran deep-cover intelligence operations. In 2004, he served in the Pentagon’s Outreach Program for Military and Intelligence Analysts.

In 2008, Simmons came out of retirement and began working with the U.S. military again. In 2010, he served as a Senior Intelligence Advisor on counter-intelligence in Kabul, Afghanistan. He has since retired again and is often an analyst on FOX News Channel.

He is co-author of a thriller about Iran titled The Natanz Directive that is praised by former U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

The following is Wayne Simmons’ interview with the Clarion Project’s Ryan Mauro:

images (73)Ryan Mauro: In your book, the fictional character Jake Conlan is sent to Iran to secretly discover smoking gun proof that Iran has nuclear launch capabilities. President Obama has expressed confidence that the U.S. will know when Iran is on the threshold of making an actual nuclear weapon. How confident are you that our intelligence on Iran is good enough that we can know exactly what stage their program is at?

Wayne Simmons: Intelligence coming from human intelligence sources inside Iran is primarily coming from the Mujahideen-e-Khalq (also known as MEK or PMOI). I have met with their leadership in Paris. They are providing very specific, very detailed intelligence.

However, it is virtually impossible for us to determine exactly what stage the Iranian nuke program is at because the VEVAK (Iranian intelligence) is running a very sophisticated counter-intelligence operation. To adequately determine the sophistication of the nuke program requires not only first-hand, eyewitness accounts and photos, but also the ability to track the influx of equipment from outside suppliers of processing equipment.

The only way to be 100% certain that the program is not progressing is to dismantle or destroy the plants.

2Mauro: Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, has reportedly issued a fatwdeclaring the creation of nuclear weapons to be a violation of Islam. Do you believe that he is willing to lie to that extent?

Simmons: There can be NO DOUBT that Ayatollah Khamenei is lying. As I’m certain you know, Islamic law allows him to lie to any non-Muslim. Believe nothing that anyone in the leadership espouses. We need 100% verification.

Mauro: I’ve heard it argued that a surprise Iranian nuclear launch isn’t a major threat because satellites will detect the preparations for a test and Iran’s missiles can’t reach America. How do you respond?

Simmons: Though there is a very real possibility that our satellites would detect any dramatic movements of equipment and preparations for a missile launch from Iran, unless we (the U.S. and Israel) were prepared to strike at a moment’s notice, our intelligence would be for naught.

Iran’s missiles cannot reach the U.S., but Iran claims to have 150,000 missiles pointed at Israel. We do not know if that is accurate but it’s certainly possible. The major concern of the West is the Sajjil-2 missile that has nuclear capability and a range of approximately 2,200 miles. Clearly, the Iranians can reach Israel and with the Sajjill-2s, they can easily reach Europe.

Audio: Michael Savage interviews Walid Shoebat on Boston Marathon bombings

Startling information that is being suppressed by the media

“Innocent” Saudi has ties to several Al-Qaeda Terrorists

A couple of weeks ago we warned America about the very serious problem of Saudi infiltration; many of these Saudi nationals criminals and terrorists.

After the bombings, a Saudi by the name of Abdul Rahman Ali Al-Harbi was hospitalized and became a ‘suspect’, then a ‘person of interest’. His apartment was searched by federal and local authorities. No confirmation has been given so far to his involvement. The Media were quick to claim his innocence, of course.

This brings us to the Boston marathon bombings. Foreign Policy is reporting that he’s ‘no longer a person of interest’, which means he’s “innocent”, right?

Perhaps a quick look at the Arabic sources should raise the eyebrows of every American relative to the extent of the problem at hand. Many from Al-Harbi’s clan are steeped in terrorism and are members of Al-Qaeda. Out of a list of 85 terrorists listed by the Saudi government shows several of Al-Harbi clan to have been active fighters in Al-Qaeda:

State Investigation Launched After Students Dress in Burqas

By Todd Starnes

A Texas lawmaker is launching an investigation after a teacher reportedly invited female students to dress up in Islamic garb and then told her classroom they should call Muslim terrorists – freedom fighters.

State Sen. Dan Patrick, chairman of the senate education committee, told Fox News he is very disturbed by the photograph as well as reports that students were exposed to a story that blamed Egypt’s turmoil on democracy – rather than the Muslim Brotherhood.

“Parents are very sensitive to any issue that seems to be anti-American – that blames democracy for some sort of trouble in the world,” he said.

A Texas mom became outraged after she discovered a Facebook photo of her child wearing Islamic garb.

A Texas mom became outraged after she discovered a Facebook photo of her child wearing Islamic garb.

The lesson on Islam was taught in a world geography class at Lumberton High School. The teacher brought burqas and other Islamic clothing for the female students to wear. They were also assigned to write an essay based on a Washington Post story that blamed Egypt’s troubles on democracy – instead of the Muslim Brotherhood.

“I am outraged,” one of the parents, who asked not to be identified, told Fox News. “I felt my blood pressure go through my head.”

The parent said she was not aware of the lesson until she discovered a photograph of her 14-year-old daughter wearing a burqa on Facebook.

“As parents we should have been made aware this and I felt like the line had been crossed,” she told Fox News. “Christian kids who want to pray have to do it outside of school hours – yet Islam is being taught to our kids during school hours.”

Sen. Patrick said he understands why the parents are upset.

“Could you imagine if someone asked a Muslim student to dress up as a priest,” the senator asked. “The parents of a Muslim student might be rather upset about that.”

The young girl’s father wondered why the teacher was giving children lessons about Islam in a geography class.

“She went from learning about Mexico to learning about Russia to learning about Islam,” he said. “Islam is not a country. Islam is not a continent.”

The parents said they confronted their daughter and told her to explain exactly what she had been taught.

“They were asked about their perception of Islam,” she said. “Most of the class said they thought about terrorism. And her response was, ‘we’re going to change the way we perceive Islam.’”

The teacher reportedly told the students that she did not necessarily agree with the lessons –but she was required to teach the material.

The Lumberton Independent School District released a statement to Fox News defending the class.

“The lesson that was offered focused on exposing students to world cultures, religions, customs and belief systems,” the statement read. “The lesson is not teaching a specific religion, and the students volunteered to wear the clothing.”

The school district said Judaism and Christianity were also part of the lesson. However, the parents said Christianity was not discussed in the classroom.

“The Christian perspective was not taught,” she said. “They went in-depth into Islam and I’m not comfortable with it.”

Lars Hedegaard and the Enemies of Truthfulness

Give me the liberty to know, to utter, and to argue freely according to conscience, above all liberties. ..Though all the winds of doctrine were let loose to play upon the earth, so Truth be in the field, we do injuriously, by licensing and prohibiting, to misdoubt her strength. Let her and Falsehood grapple; who ever knew Truth put to the worse, in a free and open encounter? Milton

by Andrew Bostom:

Last week I noted how Michael Coren of Canada’s Sun TV was far bolder than any of his US television network colleagues in dealing with Islam’s threat to Western free speech, epitomized by Coren’s interview of Danish journalist and historian Lars Hedegaard, who survived an assassination attempt by a likely Muslim assailant, still at large. No such interview with public airing on television was conducted by any major US television network—ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, CNN—not even the self-proclaimed “alternative” to “stultifying political correctness,”  and “champion” of free speech, The Blaze TV.

Emphasizing, yet again, the ongoing, complete dereliction of duty of not only the mainstream legacy media, but so-called conservative outlets such as Fox News and The Blaze, Michael Coren opened his follow-up interview  of Lars Hedegaard, yesterday (2/15/13), with this observation:

You [Hedegaard] should be on every single TV show. This should have been [on] the front page of every newspaper in the civilized world.

To add insult to bitter irony, as described in this news item Friday (2/15/13)from Dispatch International, which Lars Hedegaard continues to edit while in protective seclusion, and reiterated during Coren’s latest interview, Hedegaard has been compelled to sue several Swedish media (including Aftonbladet, Svenska Dagbladet, Sveriges Television, Sydsvenskan and Helsingborgs Dagblad) for libel. The libel charge was filed with Allmänhetens Pressombudsman, (the Press Ombudsman) as well as the Chancellor of Justice.

PICKET: Al Qaeda didn’t just disappear from CIA’s original Benghazi memo but also from FBI counter-terror lexicon

By Kerry Picket

Lawmakers told reporters on Capitol Hill Friday that former CIA Director  David Petraeus testified that the White House edited out “Al Qaeda’s  involvement” from the agency’s original talking points. According to Fox News: (bolding is mine)

Former CIA Director David Petraeus stoked the controversy over the  Obama administration’s handling of the Libya terror attack, testifying Friday  that references to “Al Qaeda involvement” were stripped from his agency’s  original talking points — while other intelligence officials were unable to say  who changed the memo, according to a top lawmaker who was briefed.

Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., told Fox News that  intelligence officials who testified in a closed-door hearing a day earlier,  including Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and Acting CIA  Director Mike Morell, said they did not know who changed the talking points. He  said they went out to multiple departments, including the State Department,  National Security Council, Justice Department and White House.

“To me the question right now is who changed those talking points and  why. … I’d say it was somebody in the administration had to have taken it  out,” King told Fox News. “That, to me, has to be  pursued.”

But should that really be a surprise, though? As pointed out by Liz Sheld of  Breitbart News, the piece I wrote on September 27 showed that even  the FBI counter-terrorism manual does not include the term “Al – Qaeda.” In  fact, it does not even include the terms: Jihad, Hamas, Hizbollah, or Muslim  Brotherhood. PJ Media’s Patrick Poole found this  counter-terrorism document that the FBI attempted to claim did not exist.

As I pointed out previously:

The Obama administration’s response to media inquires over what happened  during the deadly terrorist attack on our U.S. consulate in Libya that took the  lives of four Americans, including a U.S. ambassador, has been that it is  currently under investigation. However, according to CNN, the FBI is only investigating the attack from  afar and “bureaucratic infighting between the FBI and Justice Department, and  the State Department on the other” appears to be delaying the investigation.:  (bolding is mine)

FBI agents have not yet been granted access to investigate in the eastern  Libyan city, and the crime scene has not been secured, sources said.

“They’ve gotten as far as Tripoli now, but they’ve never gotten to Benghazi,”  CNN National Security Analyst Fran Townsend said Wednesday, citing senior law  enforcement officials.

Last Thursday, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told reporters that an  FBI team had reached Libya earlier in the week.

“In fairness to the secretary, it may be that she wanted to be coy about  where they were in Libya for security concerns. That’s understandable. But the  fact is, it’s not clear they’ve been in Libya for very long,” Townsend said on  CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360°.”

“They had difficulty, and we understand there was some bureaucratic  infighting between the FBI and Justice Department on the one hand, and the State  Department on the other, and so it took them longer than they would have liked  to get into country. They’ve now gotten there. But they still are unable to get  permission to go to Benghazi.”

FBI agents have made a request through the U.S. State Department for  the crime scene to be secured, Townsend said, but that has not  happened.

“The senior law enforcement official I spoke to said, ‘If we get  there now, it’s not clear that it will be of any use to us,'” Townsend  said.

The FBI team has conducted interviews of State Department and U.S. government  personnel who were in Libya at the time of the attack, Townsend said, but the  FBI’s request to directly question individuals who Libyan authorities have in  custody was denied.

It took the administration over one week to declare the attack on the  consulate in Benghazi was indeed a “terrorist” attack and many wondered why the  declaration took so long. Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly reported that sources  told Fox News that U.S. intelligence knew that the strike against the consulate  was the work of terrorists within 24 hours of the attack.  So why the delay  in the actual declaration from the administration?

Brigitte Gabriel on Modeling US Schools After Madrassas, White House & Muslim Brotherhood

Rep. Andre Carson, D-Ind.

Fox News host Sean Hannity interviews Brigitte Gabriel of ACT for America and Michael Ghouse on US Congressman Andre Carson’s statement that American schools should be modeled after Madrassas with their foundation as the Koran and on the second topic of the White House invitation to the Muslim Brotherhood.

WND: Muslim congressman tied to terror co-conspirator by Aaron Klein

Rep. Andre Carson, D-Ind., who now is under fire for suggesting the U.S. needs to be “looking at” the Islamic madrassa model of education which teaches the Quran, has a history of association with a radical Muslim group that was an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme to raise money for Hamas.

The group in question, the Islamic Society of North America, was listed by the Muslim Brotherhood as a “likeminded” organization that shares the goal of an Islamic nation.

Carson gave a speech in May to the convention of the Islamic Circle of North America. Clips from that speech have been playing on Fox News this week.

During the address, Carson stressed the importance of the Quranic model of education found inside madrassas.

He stated: “America will never win the war against terrorism without help from the Muslim community. America will never tap into educational innovation and ingenuity without looking at the model that we have in our madrassas, in our schools, where innovation is encouraged, where the foundation is the Quran.”

Continued Carson: “And that model that we are pushing in some of our schools meets the multiple needs of students. …I have found that we need an educational model that is current, that meets the needs of our students. America must understand that she needs Muslims.”

Many madrassas have a reputation for teaching anti-Western values.

In response to the controversy, Carson issued a press release stating that no “…particular faith should be the foundation of our public schools…”

But Carson, who is Muslim, has been openly pro-active with the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA.

At ISNA’s annual convention held at the end of August 2008 in Columbus, Carson and Rep. Keith Ellison participated in a panel discussion entitled “Mobilizing the Muslim Political Machine: Effective Strategies for Community-Based Political Advocacy.”

The panel focused on community organizing tools for and participation in the electoral process, as well as how to create political action committees.

Carson and Ellison again participated at the July 2009 ISNA convention. The topic of discussion this time was “Effective Strategies for Muslim Political Advocacy.”

The panelists, including Ellison and Carson, shared ideas on how the Muslim community can effectively engage in political advocacy.

Another at ISNA session, the two panelists addressed the state of education in the Muslim community.

Muslim Brotherhood Draws Up Plans to Islamize Egypt

Mohamed Morsi

By Ryan Mauro

The Muslim Brotherhood leadership in Egypt held a secret meeting last week in anticipation of Mohammed Morsi’s expected presidential victory. According to the Arabic report, discovered by the Investigative Project on Terrorism, the leaders drew up the “Jazira Plan” to Islamize Egypt and pave the way for the resurrection of the Caliphate.

The “Jazira Plan” was personally approved by Mohammed Badi, the Supreme Leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, the report states. Among the first steps is to “replace the nation anthem with the so-called anthem of the Islamic Caliphate.” Police uniforms will be swapped out for “Islamic garb.” The Ministry of Information will be disbanded and replaced by a new office that will “publish Islamic heritage only” and regulate the culture. The memorization of Quranic verses will be required for students to advance academically.

The name of the plan is telling. Jazira is Arabic for “island” or “peninsula.” The report states that it is referring to the entirety of the Arabian Peninsula. This is not a plan for Egypt; it’s a regional plan. If the report is accurate, the Muslim Brotherhood is already thinking ahead towards a Caliphate.

This isn’t news to close observers of the Brotherhood. One of the group’s spokesmen said in February, “Concerning the Islamic caliphate, this is our dream, and we hope to achieve it…our first goal is the renaissance of Egypt, then the Arab world and then the Islamic world. This will come gradually.”

A hardline cleric named Safwat Hegazy spoke at a campaign rally for Morsi. He declared, “We are seeing the dream of the Islamic Caliphate coming true at the hands of Mohammed Morsi” and “The capital of the Caliphate and the United Arab States is Jerusalem, God willing.”

This hope sounds fantastical to most Westerners, including FOX News Channel’s Shepard Smith, but the Arab Spring makes this seem achievable to Islamists.

Tunisian President Ben Ali was overthrown in 2011 and the Islamist Ennahda Party won. Its secretary-general and current Prime Minister, Hamadi Jebali, said in November, “My brothers, you are at a historic moment in a new cycle of civilisation, God willing. We are in sixth caliphate, God willing.” A Hamas official spoke at the same event. The Ennahda Party reacted to the subsequent outcry by saying that his words were misrepresented and he was talking about “good governance and a break with corruption…not the establishment of an Islamic regime.”

It’s easy to see why the Brotherhood is talking about a Caliphate. The Islamists won the elections in Tunisia and Egypt and are expected to win Libya’s next month. The Brotherhood affiliate, Islah, is the most powerful party in Yemen. The Sudanese regime says it is instituting Sharia law but still may fall to an Islamist revolution. The Syrian dictatorship might be overthrown by Brotherhood-supported rebels. Turkey is now under Islamist leadership. Qatar is subsidizing the Brotherhood’s rise and Saudi Arabia remains a theocracy influenced by the Wahhabists.

The Brotherhood’s first order of business is to implement Sharia law in Egypt. The Brotherhood operates under a doctrine that it calls “gradualism.” In December, Supreme Guide Badi said that there are six phases to the Brotherhood methodology: Sharia law on the individual level; Sharia law on the family unit; Sharia law on the society; Sharia law on the government; the resurrection of the Caliphate and lastly, “mastership of the world.”

Fort Hood Massacre Investigated in “Fox Files: The Enemy Within” (Airs 6/15 at 10pm)

Nidal Hasan & Anwar al-Awlaki

By Catherine Herridge:

The American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki used more than 60 email addresses and  sent several thousand emails to his followers, some with encryption and code  words, while under FBI surveillance — according to a five-month investigation  by Fox News. Some of those emails were exchanged with accused Fort Hood shooter  Maj. Nidal Hasan.

“Fox Files: The Enemy Within,” which debuts on Fox News Channel June 15 at 10  p.m. ET, draws on exclusive interviews and first-hand accounts of the Fort Hood  massacre which killed 13 and injured at least 43 others on Nov. 5, 2009. For the  first time, victims of the shooting, as well as senior investigators, break  their silence about the worst act of terrorism on U.S. soil since  9/11.

“He (Anwar al-Awlaki) was incredibly busy. He — during his peak period —  had upwards of 60 email accounts that he was using at any given time,” retired  FBI agent Keith Slotter told Fox Files.

Slotter, whose career spanned 25 years at the Bureau, was the special agent  in charge of the San Diego field office from 2007 to 2012. His agents at  the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), which included detailees assigned to the  FBI, tracked the cleric who was the public face of Al Qaeda 2.0 and the new  digital jihad.

Since the attacks of 9/11, there are now more than 100 JTTFs across the  country.

But in the 2011 Senate Homeland Security Committee  investigation of the Fort Hood massacre,  the FBI came under criticism for failing to act as an “effective interagency  information sharing and operation coordination mechanism.”

In other words, at times the FBI failed to share key information with  intelligence analysts under their supervision.

Slotter, who now works at a private international investigative firm  specializing in cyber crime and digital forensics, characterized the number as  “thousands of emails … over a three-year period, tens of thousands.”

By 2009, the cleric, the first American on the CIA’s kill-or-capture list,  understood he was the target of U.S. and foreign intelligence services. Fox  Files has learned al-Awlaki shunned the use of phones and turned to his keyboard  because he believed email communications were more secure.

“He’d let some (email accounts) go dark, and he’d use 10 or 15, and then  those would go dark, and he’d go to a different set. So he was constantly  revolving,” Slotter explained. “As you can imagine with that many accounts, it  was quite a lot to stay on top of.”

Asked how much of it was encrypted or used code words, Slotter replied: “I’ll  simply say, some was encrypted. And leave it at that. I don’t want to get into  the technological aspects.”

Slotter has reviewed the emails between al-Awlaki and Major Hasan. The former  FBI agent went to them many times after the attack to consider if anything was  missed.

“I reviewed those emails many times. I had them bound on my desk, had  all of them. There was nothing really in there that would indicate al-Awlaki  prompting Major Hasan to do something.”

Also in 2009, at the same time al-Awlaki was exchanging emails with Hasan,  Fox Files has confirmed the radical American cleric was sending highly encrypted  emails calling for a major terrorist attack.

Refusing to Name the Enemy in the War on Terror

Watch this skit from the short-lived Fox News comedy show The 1/2 Hour News Hour; it is funny but tragic because it is satire played out in real life:

It is well-known that by refusing to identify sharia-driven Islam as the enemy in the War on Terror, the Obama administration has seriously undermined the ability to combat this existential threat to American security.  Naming or identifying the enemy is important because it allows us to identify the enemy’s threat doctrine–that which motivates his war (i.e., jihad)–and to orient on that threat doctrine (i.e., sharia), not some fictional narrative that we would wish it to be (“hijacked Islam,” extremism, etc.). Watch this real-life tragedy unfold in the two videos below:
