Fuqra Congressional Candidates: 1 Down, 1 Remains

Clarion Project, by Meira Svirsky, June 20, 2018:

At least two members of the jihadi cult Jamaat ul-Fuqra, also known as Muslims of the Americas, ran for office for this year.

The member running for Congress in Alaska recently ended his campaign after Clarion Project’s expose on him was published, but Fuqra’s congressional candidate in Massachusetts is still fighting to win the Democratic primary on September 4. She has garnered fawning media coverage that fails to mention the documented extremism of Fuqra, the ongoing federal investigation into the group or legitimate concerns about her ideology.

Alaskan Congressional Candidacy Ends

The Must Read Alaska website reports that Gregory Jones, an admitted member of Fuqra/Muslims of the Americas (MOA), has ended his campaign for the Democratic primary. The Alaska Division of Elections website now lists him as a withdrawn candidate.

The author of Must Read Alaska confirmed to the Clarion Project that Jones ended his candidacy after we published our expose, though there is no way to confirm a causal relationship.

Our expose included included newly-declassified FBI documents showing deep concern about MOA activity in Alaska and that a counter-terrorism investigation was launched from 2009 to 2011 and may have been revived since.

In 2016, Clarion Project broke the story that Jones, an admitted MOA member who has met with their radical leader in Pakistan, was a delegate for Bernie Sanders at the Democratic National Convention. He also ran for the state House in District 8 and, although he lost, received 18 percent of the vote.

During that campaign, Assemblywoman Amy Demboski mentioned our research and was depicted as a state-wide villain by the Alaskan media. The Alaskan Democratic Party upheld Jones as a near martyr, victimized by Demboski’s anti-Muslim bigotry.

Our article with these documents vindicated her, but to date, not a single media outlet has reported on the revelations. Nor has anyone apologized to her.

Jones himself said that the author of Clarion’s expose, Ryan Mauro, should be prosecuted for “hate speech and harassment.” He also called Mauro “a bigot and racist.”

A FBI spokesperson responded to the controversy by saying it was not aware of a militant Islamist compound in Alaska, which was interpreted as a clearing of Jones’ name. In actuality, MOA itself said it was setting up an “Islamic village” in Alaska. At any rate, the status of that project had no bearing on whether the public should be concerned about Jones’ membership in MOA.

Now we know from newly-declassified FBI documents that there was a counter-terrorism investigation into MOA from 2009 to 2011 and that it may have been revived since. FBI documents made it clear that the bureau views MOA as an extremist threat, even if it could not find evidence of illegal activity to justify continuing the investigation at that time.

MOA/CAIR Congressional Candidacy in Massachusetts Marches Forward

In Massachusetts, the MOA candidacy of Tahirah Amatul-Wadud has made the ballot by collecting over 2,300 signatures for the 1st Congressional District’s Democratic Party primary on September 4. She is challenging the incumbent, Rep. Richard Neal.

Amatul-Wadud is challenging Neal from the left as a progressive, despite the extremely un-progressive ideology of MOA and her spiritual leader in Pakistan, Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani. Rep. Neal has held the seat since 1988, enabling Amatul-Wadud to benefit from the anti-establishment political environment.

Her campaign website boasts that she’s the first African-American Muslim woman to run for Congress, but makes no mention of the Islamist groups she chooses to belong to.

In November 2015, Amatul-Wadud posted an article on Facebook by Sheikh Gilani that was filled with anti-Semitic conspiracy theories and even drew moral equivalence between Hitler and his Jewish victims, suggesting that the U.S. was misled into going to war with Nazi Germany.

The article reads:

“There was no need for America to go to war against Hitler. Hitler was not the enemy of America or the American people. There was a mutual animosity between Hitler and the Jews. So, the American people paid a very heavy price for fighting someone else’s war.”

Her leader’s article then suggests that a Zionist conspiracy orchestrated the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and Al-Qaeda’s attack on 9/11 to get the U.S. to attack Muslim countries, a common theme in MOA materials.

“Many government agencies want the world to believe that Osama Bin Laden destroyed the World Trade Center…it was the job of insiders,” it says.

Amatul-Wadud is also a board member of the Massachusetts chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which the U.S. Justice Department has identified as an “entity” of the Muslim Brotherhood with links to Hamas.

Despite ideological differences, CAIR and MOA have been getting closer and closer.

Federal prosecutors said in a 2008 court filing:

From its founding by Muslim Brotherhood leaders, CAIR conspired with other affiliates of the Muslim Brotherhood to support terrorists … the conspirators agreed to use deception to conceal from the American public their connections to terrorists.

MOA responded to Clarion’s original article about Amatul-Wadud’s candidacy with an article attacking the author as an “anti-Muslim extremist.”

The local media coverage of Amatul-Wadud has been wholly positive, without ever once pressing her about why she remains loyal to Sheikh Gilani and MOA.

Voters make their choices based on an array of issues and preferences. Links to an Islamist group like MOA should be a factor in a primary voter’s mind.

In addition, a progressive voter in the primary must ask the question, “What is progressive about MOA and Sheikh Gilani?”

Listen to Clarion Project’s Ryan Mauro talk about Fuqra and the candidates on The Glenn Beck Program (Mauro comes on the show at 14:55 minutes):

American Islamist Group Preps for Jihad Against Trump

Khalifa Hussain Abdallah, (foreground) known as ‘K1’ within the group for his top ranking as an original founder, is said to be a key supervisor of these preparations for armed conflict.

Clarion Project, by Ryan Mauro, November 28, 2016:

Multiple confidential sources inside of a powerful jihadist group within the United States have informed the Christian Action Network and the Clarion Project that members have been told to arm themselves in anticipation of raids by the Trump Administration.

The Pakistan-based spiritual leader of Muslims of America (MOA), Sheikh Gilani, told top MOA officials (known as “khalifas”) to order all unarmed members to obtain firearms, licenses and hunting permits in order to resist raids on the group’s approximately 22 compounds that they expect to happen under the Trump Administration. Additional “security” was also called up and assault rifles have been mentioned as desirable.

The group now expects the FBI “to reopen its cases against them as a homegrown terrorist organization,” one of the confidential sources told Martin Mawyer of the Christian Action Network and Ryan Mauro of the Clarion Project.

The sources independently stated that members across the country were told of instructions from Sheikh Gilani to “be prepared to fight.” The message reportedly relayed to members was to “hear and obey,” using language identical to the oath of allegiance members sign when they join the group. He predicted, “You will be tested.”

The members believe that President-elect Trump is part of a satanic-Zionist conspiracy to destroy Islam, and that he is fulfilling apocalyptic End Times prophecies. Any action taken against MOA is seen as part of a war on Islam, a situation that permits violent jihad.

The preparations for armed confrontation are described as “self-defense measures,” but one source cautioned that the group could decide to take “offensive” action if it believes armed conflict is imminent.

MOA, previously known as Jamaat ul-Fuqra, refers to its compounds as “Islamic villages,” with its headquarters in New York known as “Islamberg.” Clarion Project’s Ryan Mauro obtained footage of women getting guerilla training at the site, which was filmed in or around 2002. The group has a history of terrorist and criminal activity.

MOA members have a long history of terrorism, extremism and criminal activity including weapons trafficking. A 2007 FBI report obtained by Ryan Mauro of the Clarion Project states:

“The documented propensity for violence by this organization supports the belief the leadership of the MOA extols membership to pursue a policy of jihad or holy war against individuals or groups it considers enemies of Islam, which includes the US Government.”

It warned that MOA “possesses an infrastructure capable of planning and mounting terrorist campaigns within the U.S. and overseas.”

Orders were also issued for members released on parole to stay off the compounds and to minimize associations with other MOA members that live on the lands. Many members are on parole for crimes like distributing drugs, running illegal guns, fraud and counterfeiting.

Because parole officers can enter homes or come onto properties without a search warrant, MOA officials are concerned that the presence of a parolee on their land could be used for intelligence-gathering and to find a pretext for a raid.

Multiple independent sources emphasized that MOA membership is not confined to the camps and reported a peculiar scattering of members into areas of the U.S. that previously had no MOA presence.

The sources warned that some MOA members have been in violent drug gangs, sometimes in a covert capacity where the gangs are not informed of their MOA ties. They express concern that non-MOA criminals could be utilized so as to minimize traces to the group.

A public statement by Sheikh Gilani published on November 14 appears peaceful, but these sources say that the wording has frightening implications that outsiders would fail to detect.

“I foretold the disastrous results should this man be elected as the American President. He has come as a test and trial for the faithful adherents of the holy books. There is no reason to cry, weep or despair over this current difficulty,” it reads.

Gilani is referring to his prophecies that a “tyrant” would take control of the White House during the End Times, shortly before an apocalyptic battle happens that ushers in final victory for Islam (as he interprets it).

MOA believes that this “Doomsday” will happen under the reign of Gilani’s successor, known as the 7th Sultan. Gilani is understood by members to be on the cusp of death. Sources reported last month that Gilani has transferred his title of “imam of MOA” to his son in the U.S., Sultan Ahmed Gilani, who may be separate from the prophetic 7th Sultan.

muslims-of-the-americas-husain-abdallah-drivers-license-insideKhalifa Hussain Abdallah, known as “K1” within the group for his top ranking as an original founder, is said to be a key supervisor of these preparations for armed conflict.

The sources urged Mawyer and Mauro to be on alert, as MOA members believe they are responsible for the forthcoming crackdown. Law enforcement has been informed of the danger and should consider MOA the immediate suspect if any harm is done to them.

The Christian Action Network and Clarion Project challenge Sheikh Gilani to prove his alleged commitment to non-violence by publishing an unequivocal forbiddance of any violent action against Mawyer and Mauro by any MOA supporter under any circumstances.

Ironically, the event was called ‘Celebrating and Protecting America’s Tradition of Religious Pluralism,’ hardly a place for a radical Isalmic group.

Clarion Project, by Ryan Mauro, Feb. 23, 2016:

One of the last places you’d expect to find a radical Islamic group with an extensive history of terrorism is at the White House—but that’s exactly what happened on December 17. The Muslims of the Americas, a front for the radical Jamaat ul-Fuqra group, accepted the invitation to join its event titled, “Celebrating and Protecting America’s Tradition of Religious Pluralism.”

The event was organized by the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. The Office says it “forms partnerships between government and non-profit organizations,” including connecting the Department of Homeland Security with community groups that can assist with disaster responses.

The selected attendees were praised by the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division leader, Vanita Gupta, as “distinguished public servants and engaged advocates for today’s critical conversation about our nation’s tradition of religious pluralism.”

The Clinton Administration’s State Department listed Fuqra as a terrorist group in its 1998 Patterns of Global Terrorism Report, but the U.S. government stopped including it in 2000 because of its inactivity. The State Department had described Fuqra as “an Islamic sect that seeks to purify Islam through violence” and is led by a radical cleric named Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani in Pakistan.

Muslims of the Americas (MOA) is today openly led by Gilani.

A 2007 FBI report  obtained by the Clarion Project states “the documented propensity for violence by this organization supports the belief the leadership of the MOA extols membership to pursue a policy of jihad or holy war against individuals or groups it considers enemies of Islam, which includes the U.S. Government.”

It says “members of the MOA are encouraged to travel to Pakistan to receive religious and military/terrorist training from Gilani.” It warns that MOA “posses an infrastructure capable of planning and mounting terrorist campaigns overseas and within the U.S.”

In fact, MOA has a history of terrorist and criminal activity.

MOA proudly announced its attendance at the White House event and was represented by its General Counsel, Tahirah Amatul-Wadud. She previously posted an article on her Facebook page by Gilani that touts 9/11 conspiracy theories and claims that ISIS is a front for British intelligence. The article also claims that the U.S. was brought into World War II by a Jewish conspiracy.

“There was no need for America to go to war against Hitler. Hitler was not the enemy of America or the American people. There was a mutual animosity between Hitler and the Jews. So, the American people paid a very heavy price for fighting someone else’s war,” Gilani wrote.

The Clarion Project was the first to report on the inflammatory article. It was deleted after we wrote about how the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has become involved with Fuqra, including Amatul-Wadud’s appointment to the board of CAIR’s Massachusetts chapter.

“I have never seen, in the whole of my life or even in the past thousand years, a Jew who will tell the truth,” Gilani says.

In his book, Qur’anic Psychiatry, Gilani teaches, “Jews are an example of human Satans. This is why Jews are the founders of Satan worship and Masonic lodges, and are now trying to take over the entire globe in which the global religion is to be Satanism.”

That’s not the best fit for an event at the White House themed, “Celebrating and Protecting America’s Tradition of Religious Pluralism.”

The Clarion Project has contacted the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships and will let readers know if there’s a response.

CAIR Intertwines with US-based, Terror-Linked Fuqra Group

Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani, the radical head of Jamaat ul-Fuqra, a terrorist organization fronted in the U.S. by Muslims of the Americas.

Clarion Project, by Ryan Mauro, Feb. 9, 2016:

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and its “moderate” image is suffering from a self-inflicted wound now it has become intertwined with the Muslims of the Americas, a radical anti-Semitic front for the Jamaat ul-Fuqra terrorist group.

CAIR’s Massachusetts chapter now shares an official with MOA and two CAIR officials spoke at MOA’s International Islamophobia Conference.

The Massachusetts chapter of CAIR recently chose MOA’s general counsel, Tahirah Amatul Wadud, as a board member. CAIR, a U.S.Muslim Brotherhood entity banned for its own terror links in the UAE, wisely omitted mention of MOA. It described her generically as a “general counsel for a New York Muslim congregation.”

Wadud reportedly posted an article by MOA’s Pakistan-based leader,Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani, on her Facebook claiming the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL) is a puppet of the British government and a Jewish conspiracy perpetrated the attacks on Pearl Harbor and September 11, 2001. The Clarion Project was the first to report on the inflammatory article.

“There was no need for America to go to war against Hitler. Hitler was not the enemy of America or the American people. There was a mutual animosity between Hitler and the Jews. So, the American people paid a very heavy price for fighting someone else’s war,” Gilani wrote.

Two CAIR officials spoke at MOA’s InternationalIslamophobia Conference, which included a poster featuring the faces of the “American Taliban” that included Clarion Projectnational security analyst Ryan Mauro. They were CAIR-Michigan Executive Director Dawud Walid and CAIR-ArizonaExecutive Director Imraan Siddiqi. Walid was one of the CAIR officials who have questioned whether Muslims should honor fallen U.S. servicemen on Memorial Day, sparking a backlash from Muslims who appreciate the U.S. military.

Jamaat ul-Fuqra is led by Gilani. It is best known for a series of terrorist attacks and plots in the 1980s and early 1990s and for setting up “Islamic villages” across the country, including at least two that were shut down by the authorities. These “villages” are known to have been used for guerilla warfare training. Fuqra now goes primarily by the name of Muslims of the Americas (MOA), among other names. The group says it has 22 such “villages” in the U.S.

The Clarion Project obtained video of female members receiving basic paramilitary instruction in military fatigue at its “Islamberg” headquarters in New York. The date of the footage is cut off, only stating “Jan. 28 20,” presumably meaning it was made in 2000 or after. The best explanation MOA members have come up with is that it was a “self-defense class.”

View the video here:

The Clarion Project identified a Fuqra “village” in Texas in 2014 and retrieved an FBI intelligence report from 2007 that stated MOA “possess an infrastructure capable of planning and mounting terrorist campaigns overseas and within the U.S.” and “the documented propensity for violence by this organization supports the belief the leadership of the MOA extols membership to pursue a policy of jihad or holy war against individuals or groups it considers enemies of Islam, which includes the U.S. Government.”

The FBI also said “members of the MOA are encouraged to travel to Pakistan to receive religious and military/terrorist training from Gilani.” In 2001, ATF Special Agent Thomas P. Gallagher testified in court that “individuals from the organization are trained in Hancock, N.Y., and if they pass the training in Hancock, N.Y., are then sent to Pakistan for training in paramilitary and survivalist training by Mr. Gilani.”

After Clarion Project identified the Texas site and published the FBI report, a dozen Muslim groups have signed a statement calling for Fuqra’s designation as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. Of course, CAIR isn’t one of them. CAIR actually came to Fuqra/MOA’s defense. And now CAIR and Fuqra have shared leadership through CAIR-Massachusetts and hold events together.

MOA’s International Islamophobia Conference took place at the Muslim Community Center of the Capital District in Schenectady, New York. CAIR-Arizona Executive Director Imraan Siddiqi is listed as a member of the Board of Directors, indicating he played more than a speaking role in setting the MOA event up.

The MOA’s event featured delegates representing the U.S., Canada, Pakistan, Senegal, India, Taiwan, Bangladesh and Egypt. Siddiqi was the delegate representing India. MOA flyers also list headquarters in Caracas, Venezuela and Las Lomas, Trinidad & Tobago. The MOA claims it had nearly 300 attendees and thousands watched online. It announced it would start a new political coalition named the “International United Muslim Forum.”

Ironically, MOA has tried to excuse itself from its terrorist and criminal history by claiming that it was infiltrated by Wahhabist/Muslim Brotherhood operatives who were sent to undermine Sheikh Gilani. It even claims that one operative was a shape-shifter who could go “through physical changes before speaking to people as if he were Sheikh Gilani.”

And now MOA is collaborating with a known Muslim Brotherhood entity. You can read our documented profiles of CAIR and MOA here and here.

Muslims of America terrorist training compounds

gillani-crusade1American Thinker, By Carol Brown, Sep. 20, 2015:

While the Middle East remains a hotbed for terrorists, we’ve got our own jihad training compounds set up in rural areas across the United States. They are run by an organization called Muslims of America (MOA). Law enforcement describes these compounds as “classically structured terrorist cells.”

If you visit the MOA website, you’ll get a hefty dose of taqiyya. The home page has an image of a large American flag along with a banner advertising one of their offshoot organizations called the United Muslim Christian Forum. The goal of this bogus group is to find common ground between Muslims and Christians, including mutual hatred of Jews. The web site also features a slick 16-minute propaganda video.

On the opposite end of the spectrum from what the MOA is publically peddling is the non-taqiyya version of who they are. Otherwise known as the truth.

Let’s start with the founder: El Sheikh Gilani. Prior to MOA, he founded Jamaat ul-Fuqra, a Pakistani terror organization. MOA is the American version of ul-Fuqra.

Gilani is also the man Daniel Pearl had set out to interview on that fateful day when Pearl was kidnapped. (May Daniel’s soul rest in peace.)

Per the Northeast Intelligence Network, Gilani emigrated from Pakistan around 1980. He settled in Brooklyn, NY, where he began preaching at a mosque frequented by African-American Muslims. This is where he started to recruit for jihad in Afghanistan, often targeting black criminals who converted to Islam in prison — a source of recruits for jihad that continues to this day.

Then Gilani took things a step further and set up a terror-training compound in a rural area of upstate New York. There are now numerous MOA compounds across the United States. Estimates vary regarding how many there are, ranging from 22 to 35. As of this writing, states where MOA has set up shop are: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.

In other words, they’re just about everywhere.

In some states there is more than one location. New York’s “Islamburg” (located in the town of Hancock) is the largest operation and serves as the headquarters. The MOA compound in Colorado was the site of a 1989 seizure by federal authorities of firearms, explosive devices, forged documents, military manuals, and data on potential targets. (See here, here, here, here, here, here, and here for more information on MOA locations, including maps.)

There is no doubt that MOA is a terror organization operating on American soil. It is well documented by the FBI whose records state that MOA has the infrastructure to plan and carry out terror attacks (here, and overseas) and that MOA leaders urge their members to commit jihad against enemies of Islam.

In addition to the FBI, there are courageous individuals and private organizations on the bleeding edge of investigating and exposing this deadly organization, including the Christian Action Network (CAN), with founder and author of Twilight in America, Martin Mawyer, leading the way. (Interview with Mawyer, here.)

Two reports by CAN reveal MOA’s insular communities that thrive on brainwashing, deception, hate, and violence. These reports are summarized below.

  • MOA trains men, and women, to become jihadists poised to attack Americans when Gilani gives the order. Toward this end, MOA maintains a stockpile of illegal weapons. Residents are taught that jihad is their life’s purpose and have been indoctrinated to believe Gilani can travel through space and time to spy on them. After recruits are trained here, many are then sent to Pakistan for more paramilitary training.
  • Compounds are completely insular, with their own stores, mosques, and graveyards, as well as guard posts to intercept visitors. Living conditions are typically poor. Many locations are near lakes where jihadists-in-training shoot weapons across the lake (standing behind the 2nd amendment when confronted about it) in addition to learning other means of attack such as slitting throats and strangulation. All members follow Sharia law and consider themselves to be above local, state and federal authority.
  • Large families and government dependence are encouraged with much of the money sent to Gilani, who is now back in Pakistan. Welfare fraud is rampant as children are urged to commit crimes against non-Muslims and to engage in scams, including welfare fraud and drug-related crimes (with drug money sent to Gilani). Members often use aliases and spelling variations of their names.
  • There are as many as four generations of people living in these camps, all of whom have been taught from the outset to distrust Americans and to prepare for jihad. For some members, life in the camp is all they’ve ever known. In addition to those who were born at the compound, MOA openly recruits through social service organizations, with many new members coming from the prison system.
  • Discipline in the camps is ruthless and is used to exact punishment and intimidate members from leaving. If members break a rule, they may be tied to a tree and beaten. In addition, women are routinely raped and children are physically abused. Girls are denied an education, such as it is.

Per the Northeast Intelligence Network, MOA members have been suspected and/or convicted of a variety or crimes, including assassinations, fire bombings, and fraud. Money has been laundered through Muslim front organizations established by Gilani, including an Islamic university and private elementary schools.

So how does MOA get away this?

Two former FBI agents (Tim Clemente and John Guandolo) reported on factors that reflect a combination of deception, political correctness, and public policy that inhibits the FBI’s ability to do their job. First, the FBI wants to avoid the appearance that it is scrutinizing Muslim organizations and/or is infringing on religious freedom. Second, MOA sets up religious/charitable causes to mask their illicit activities, intertwining good with bad. This enables them to play the victim card during investigation attempts.

In other words, suicidal political correctness overrides our safety as United States law enforcement allows itself to be intimidated by faux charities that provide cover for terrorists.

But perhaps the most significant barrier to our ability to take action is the fact that our State Department refuses to designate ul-Fuqra a terrorist organization despite unequivocal evidence that they are. In addition, as Ryan Mauro, national security researcher for CAN stated back in 2009: “law enforcement authorities do not have the tools they need to search these compounds…members involved in terrorist and criminal activity are being treated as if they are isolated incidents; rogue followers of an otherwise innocent cult. Legislation on the state level also needs to be passed to permit the authorities to search these compounds.”

So we’ve got jihad training camps and sleeper cells scattered all across the United States ready to attack. And what are we doing about it? Precious little.

Who among us will be the next to fall victim to Gilani’s directive?

“Act like you are his friend. Then kill him.”

‘Sleeping Giant’: New CAN Video Exposes Islamic Radicalization in American Prisons

CAN, By Martin Mawyer:

When I learned that President Obama had released the five most notorious jihadists from the prison at Guantanamo Bay in exchange for an Army deserter, I reacted as many Americans did: I was horrified to think these savages were being put back into circulation by our own president.

Our recently released video exposé, “Sleeping Giant: Islam Behind the Wall,” demonstrates in shocking detail what President Obama seems not to understand—that prison itself is an incubator for radical Islam.

There is much more to the story of these Gitmo Five than just the near-certain prospect that they will soon all be back on the battlefield engaged in acts of terrorism against us. Islamists cannot be given the freedom to become more virulent in their ideology inside our prisons, only to be set free to commit more jihad. That is suicide. And that’s exactly what’s happening in America’s prisons.

In making our video “Sleeping Giant,” I had the opportunity to interview a convicted felon who spent years in several of America’s most infamous state prisons. It was an eye-opening interview that left me both shaken and convinced that America is literally teeming with radicalized ex-cons who leave prison better equipped and more willing to harm us than when they went in.

Zoran , of Serbian descent, is an American citizen who landed in prison after a felony conviction. After seeing how powerful the Muslim gangs are in prison, he decided to infiltrate them.

“I wanted them to think I hated the government, and that I hated America,” he said.

When I met Zoran, he was covered in some frightening tattoos, most of them obtained in prison. Some were in the Serbian language advertising his gang affiliations. Others were marks of his accomplishments in the martial arts. He is tall, muscular and strong—perfect for a Muslim gang.

“They look at a prisoner’s physique, to see if he is strong,” Zorn explained, “but they also look for a weak individual, someone who needs food, a sense of family, who needs someone to help them.

“They present a sign of hope” to these lost prisoners, he said.

“They ask, ‘Do you need to make a call? Here’s a cell phone, you have five minutes,’” Said Zoran. “If you need drugs, pornographic material, cigarettes, they’ll provide it. And they’ll hold these things for you so you don’t get in trouble with the guards.”

According to Zoran, Muslims in our prisons “control everything. They have everything on lockdown—the jobs, the drugs, the guards, everything.”

Zoran was stunned to see that radical Islamic ideology—including guerilla combat techniques—is taught right in the prisons without any monitoring from the prison authorities.

“One day they saw me practicing some (martial arts) moves,” he said. “They decided I should teach advanced combatives to their Muslim gang members.”

muslims in prisonZoran also explained that books teaching radical Islamic ideology are smuggled into the prisons with ease. Books like “The Anarchist Cookbook”—a murder manual that teaches radicals how to make bombs and other weapons—enters the prisons in the Arabic language in plain bindings so that prison officials and guards think it is the Koran, or other Islamic teachings.

Zoran also learned how to defraud America’s welfare system from his Muslim mentors in prison. “They teach you unemployment fraud, Social Security fraud,” he said. A big scam in the prisons is the illegal use of “green dot” pre-paid cards. Friends and family on the outside help the prisoners use false Social Security numbers to load hundreds of dollars onto the cards so they can be used in the prisons to buy anything the prisoners need—including illegal drugs.

One of Zoran’s most shocking admissions was that the Muslim gangs don’t just stop their indoctrination once the prisoner is let out. They are persuaded to make immediate contact with Islamic communities and mosques on the outside, where they can continue their Islamic jihad training.

Zoran said his Muslim mentors in prison specifically directed him to Islamic guerilla training compounds in Virginia, Georgia and New York as places where he could go for jihadist training when he left the prison system. These training camps have been identified as Muslims of the Americas (MOA) compounds.

MOA has been identified by the FBI as a terrorist organization in America which also runs compounds in a number of other states.

Shoe bomber Richard Reid

Shoe bomber Richard Reid

MOA is known to have recruited many of its members from America’s prisons. One of the most notorious prison converts to Islam, who also had connections to MOA, is “shoe bomber” Richard Reid, who was radicalized in a British prison. Reid tried to blow up an airplane with a bomb in his shoe that failed to properly detonate in 2001, en route from Paris to Miami.

Once Muslim gang members in prison have indoctrinated other prisoners into the Islamic ideology, they begin training them for jihad. Zoran’s advanced experience in martial arts techniques attracted him to Muslim gang members when he was in prison.

“They wanted me to teach advanced combat at these camps” when he got out of prison, Zoran said.

This amazing and eye-opening interview with Zoran is included on a DVD released by Christian Action Network entitled: “Sleeping Giant: Islam Behind the Wall.”

The Rise of Prison Conversions

In 2003 about 20 percent of the prison population was estimated to be Muslim. At least 80 percent of the prisoners who “find faith” in prison convert to Islam. Most of them are black, but a growing number are Hispanic.

In a 2004 report issued by the Justice Department, the nation’s federal and state prison systems were faulted for failing to protect against “infiltration by religious extremists.” That failure is obviously continuing to this day.

Some other notable converts to Islam in prison include Malcolm X, the so-called civil rights activist; Abdul Alim Musa, a Muslim-American activist;  B.G. Knocc Out, a black rapper; Charles Brooks, Jr. , a convicted murderer who converted to Islam before his execution; Flesh N Bone, a member of the rap group Bone Thugs N Harmony; H. Rap Brown, a former Black Panther who is currently in prison for murdering a police officer; Jeff Fort, a former Chicago gang leader who was convicted in 1987 of conspiring with Libya to perform acts of domestic terrorism; José Padilla, who was convicted of aiding terrorists in the “Dirty Bomb” plot; Kevin James, ringleader of the 2005 Los Angeles bomb plot; Mike Tyson, former heavyweight boxing champion;  Bernard Hopkins, former middleweight and light heavyweight boxing champion; and many others.

Recently, Secretary of State John Kerry admitted that “Three dozen U.S. citizens who converted to Islam while in prison have traveled to Yemen, possibly for al Qaeda training.”

“Organized crime is small compared to their operations” in American prisons, said Zoran. “Their master plan is numbers.” The more converts they make in prison, the more Islamists enter the free world to do their bidding—jihad.
